Piece Of Cake! MTV Celebrates Super Sweet Finale Ratings And Greenlight For Second Season Of "My Super Sweet 16"
Ranking #1 In Its Time Period Among P12-34 Versus All Of Cable, Tuesday Night�s Season Finale Is Seen By Nearly 2.4 Million Viewers
February 25, 2005 � New York, NY: MTV: Music Television today announced that the season finale of its new documentary series MY SUPER SWEET 16 garnered a 2.8 P12-34 rating on Tuesday, February 22, and was seen by an average of 2,375,000 total viewers (P2+). In addition, the network announced that it has greenlit a second season of the series, to premiere sometime this summer.
�This series has really connected with our audience in a significant way,� commented Dave Sirulnick, Executive Vice President of MTV News & Production. �These ratings back up the buzz that the show has gotten all season.�

- The season finale of MY SUPER SWEET 16, which aired on Tuesday at 10:30 p.m., posted a 2.8 P12-34 rating and was seen by an average of 2,375,000 total viewers (P2+).

MY SUPER SWEET 16 premiered in January and follows young people, and their friends and families, for the planning of their coming-of-age celebrations. Tuesday night�s episode of the series featured Sierra, a self-proclaimed diva and her over-the-top, celeb-style �Sweet 16� party in Atlanta. Other teens included Lauren and Jackie, who threw an elegant soiree - except for the mosh pit fight - at the Hard Rock Caf�; Ava, whose opulent Arabian nights-themed party was held at the Four Seasons in La Jolla, CA; and Hart, a teen whose father spared no expense in planning his son�s Philadelphia bash, including up-close-and-personal auditions with go-go dancers.
Nina Diaz, Dave Sirulnick, and Lily Neumeyer are Executive Producers of MY SUPER SWEET 16. The series was created by Diaz and Neumeyer.
