AMC's Airing of Independence Day Ranked as Night's #1 Movie on Ad-Supported Cable; Adds Further Strength to AMC's Record Ratings Year
On Saturday July 30th AMC's airing of Independence Day (8p-11p) ranked as the #1 movie telecast on ad-supported cable for the night based on HH rtgs (1.76), total viewers (2.1 million) as well as HH delivery (1.5 million). For the 8-11p daypart, this telecast established AMC as the #1 network of the night in delivery of Adults 25-54 (1.2 million viewers).
Today's announcement comes on the heels of AMC's record ratings performance in 2004 and 2005.
AMC's July ratings highlights include:

**AMC is a top network in July 2005 in HH ratings and key demo deliveries. #12 Among Adults 25-54

2004 provided AMC with its strongest year ever in total day and prime time households and key demo deliveries. Year-to-date, 2005 is now pacing to be break AMC's record breaking 2004 ratings, as it has celebrated its strongest first and second quarters ever in Q1 and Q2 2005, and its strongest-ever April, May, June - and now July - performances.
