THE WB THURSDAY CONTINUES TO SIZZLE WITH MORE NETWORK RECORDS AND THE GREATEST GAINS ON TELEVISION
The WB Network, with continued top-notch performances from its Tuesday and Thursday line-ups with additional Friday and Sunday highlights, which included their highest outputs of the broadcast season, was the only broadcast network to maintain its entire adult 18-49 audience from the parallel week the previous season (1.6/4).
After a success in the week ending October 30, The WB got off to a flying start to the current week on Monday. The pair � 7TH HEAVEN and RELATED � scored The WB's best Monday ratings of the season among adults 18-34 (1.8/6), persons 12-34 (1.6/5), adults 18-49 (1.6/4), women 18-34 (3.0/9), women 12-34 (2.6/8) and women 18-49 (2.6/7). The lineup was #1 from 8-10 p.m. in women 18-34 (3.0/9), women 12-34 (2.6/8) and female teens.
RELATED, in its first original airing on Monday, achieved the time period season highs in adults 18-34 (1.5/4), persons 12-34 (1.2/4), adults 18-49 (1.2/3), women 18-34 (2.4/7, nine-tenths of a ratings point over the previous high), women 12-34 (2.0/6) and women 18-49 (2.0/5). Its scores in women 18-34 (2.4/7) and women 18-49 (2.0/5) are new series records and its 1.5/4 in adults 18-34 equaled its series high. RELATED also topped NBC's Medium in women 18-34.
7TH HEAVEN, the longest-running family drama in television history, is still extremely potent as it dominated its time period in key demos, placing #1 among adults 18-34 (2.1/7), persons 12-34 (2.0/7), women 18-34 (3.5/11), women 12-34 (3.2/11), women 18-49 (3.2/9) and teens (1.7/8). Its score in female teens (2.4/11) was #1 for the entire night.
Last week, The WB's re-vamped Thursday line-up consisting of signature series SMALLVILLE and EVERWOOD continues to pay dividends, confirming its status as the best scheduling move on television this season. SMALLVILLE again reached network record levels and the tandem has achieved the greatest growth in key demos on any night on any network this season.
GILMORE GIRLS was the 10th-ranked show on television for the week among women 12-34 (4.0/12) and #20 among women 18-34 (3.9/11). SMALLVILLE ranked #14 for the week in both men 18-34 (3.5/12) and men 12-34 (3.2/11). GILMORE GIRLS was also #1 for the entire week in female teens (4.5/14). The WB had five shows ranked in the top eight among female teens including CHARMED, SUPERNATURAL, ONE TREE HILL and SMALLVILLE, leading The WB to the #1 ranking in the trend-setting demo.

� GILMORE GIRLS finished #1 in its time period among women 12-34 (4.0/12), teens (2.8/9), and female teens (4.5/14), ranked #3 in persons 12-34 (2.7/8) and placed #3 with women 18-34 (3.9/11).
� SUPERNATURAL matched its best performance yet in men 12-34 (2.1/6) and men 18-34 (2.2/6), scored its second highest output in men 18-49 (2.0/5) and matched its second highest delivery in persons 12-34 (2.5/7).
� EVERWOOD secured its best numbers this season in women 12-34 (2.2/6) and female teens (2.9/9) and matched its best outputs season-to-date in women 18-34 (2.0/5) and teens 12-17 (2.0/6).
� CHARMED notched its best deliveries of the season in women 12-34 (2.8/8), women 18-34 (2.6/7) and women 18-49 (2.5/6).
The WB Thursday Keeps Getting Better As It Achieves Its Best Ratings Of The Season Among Women 18-34, Women 12-34 And Female Teens
The WB's Thursday duo of SMALLVILLE and EVERWOOD continues to build on its ultra-successful season as television's best scheduling move. The night, which has been an undeniable winner this television season, achieved its season-high ratings among women 18-34 (2.3/6), women 12-34 (2.5/7) and female teens (3.1/10).
EVERWOOD achieved its season-high level in ratings among persons 12-34 (1.6/5), women 18-34 (2.0/5), women 12-34 (2.2/6), teens (2.0/6) and female teens (2.9/9). EVERWOOD improved its time period over the same week last season in every key demo, including +40% in adults 18-34 (1.4/4), +78% in persons 12-34 (1.6/5), +86% in adults 18-49 (1.3/3), +233% in teens (2.0/6) and +154% in total viewers (3.9 million).
SMALLVILLE again certified its dominance among young men at 8 p.m. on Thursdays as it finished #1 its time period in men 18-34 (3.5/12) and men 12-34 (3.2/11) for the fifth time in as many weeks this season. SMALLVILLE also placed #2 in its time period among adults 18-34 (3.1/10), adults 18-49 (2.6/7), persons 12-34 (3.0/9), women 18-34 (2.7/8), women 12-34 (2.8/8) and men 18-49 (2.8/8). SMALLVILLE's ratings in adults 18-34 and men 18-34 were once again the highest in the time period in network history and its scores in persons 12-34 and adults 18-49 were the second strongest in network history.
Just like its lead-out SMALLVILLE scored at its highest levels this season with its best ratings of the season among adults 18-34 (3.1/10), women 18-34 (2.7/8), men 18-34 (3.5/12), women 12-34 (2.8/8) and female teens (3.2/10). SMALLVILLE's year-to-year gains for its time period continue to be humongous. It scored tremendous growth in all key demos compared to the same week last year including +107% in adults 18-34 (3.1/10), +192% in men 18-34 (3.5/12), +88% in persons 12-34 (3.0/9), +73% in adults 18-49 (2.6/7) and +77% in total viewers (5.8 million).
For the night, The WB Thursday was #2 among men 12-34 (2.1/7), #3 in adults 18-34 (2.2/7), persons 12-34 (2.3/7), men 18-34 (2.1/7), women 12-34 (2.5/7) and men 18-49 (1.8/5). The night achieved great gains over the same Thursday last season including +69% in adults 18-34, +92% in persons 12-34, +73% in adults 18-49, +108% in teens and +101% in total viewers (4.8 million).
Another Stellar Tuesday For �Gilmore Girls� And �Supernatural� As The Two Team To Tie Top Tuesday
The WB Tuesday equaled the night's best deliveries of the season in men 12-34 (1.8/5), men 18-49 (1.8/5), and male teens (1.6/5), and matched the second highest performances of the season with adults 18-34 (2.6/7) and adults 18-49 (2.5/6). The WB Tuesday ranked #2 for the evening among women 12-34 (3.4/10), finished #3 in persons 12-34 (2.6/7) and women 18-34 (3.3/9), and led the night in teens (2.7/8) and female teens (3.9/12). Additionally, The WB Tuesday garnered gains over the parallel night a year ago in all 18-49 demos, as well as total viewers (5.6 million, up +9%), men 12-34 (up +13%), men 18-34 (up +6%), and male teens (up +45%).
GILMORE GIRLS finished #1 in its time period among women 12-34 (4.0/12), teens (2.8/9), and female teens (4.5/14), ranked #3 in persons 12-34 (2.7/8) and placed #3 with women 18-34 (3.9/11). The series matched its best output of the season in men 18-49 (1.6/4) and equaled its second highest deliveries of the season in men 12-34 (1.4/5) and adults 18-49 (2.7/7). The show also registered growth over a year ago in all 18-49 and teen demos, as well as in total viewers (6.0 million, up +8%).
SUPERNATURAL matched its best performance in men 12-34 (2.1/6) and men 18-34 (2.2/6), scored its second-highest output in men 18-49 (2.0/5) and matched its second-highest delivery in persons 12-34 (2.5/7). The spooky series ranked #1 in its time period in teens (2.6/8) and female teens (3.4/10). Additionally, the program posted double-digit growth over last year's time period in all male demos, as well as in total viewers (5.1 million, up +11%) and adults 18-49 (2.2/5, up +5%).
�Reba� Is #1 In Its Time Period In Women 18-34 And Women 12-34 And �Twins� Achieves The Time Period's Best Ratings Of The Season For The WB In Adults 18-34, Adults 18-49 And Persons 12-34, Leading The WB Friday To Its Best Outing Of The Broadcast Season
The WB had its best Friday of the broadcast season led by REBA, which was #1 in its time period among women 18-34 (2.2/8) and women 12-34 (1.9/7). Another bright spot for The WB was its first-year comedy TWINS, which was up significantly over its first post-REBA airing and achieved The WB's best ratings in the time period among adults 18-34 (1.3/5), adults 18-49 (1.4/4) and persons 12-34 (1.2/5).
WHAT I LIKE ABOUT YOU, from 8:00-8:30 p.m., also had an outstanding week with #2 time period finishes among women 18-34 (1.7/6) and women 12-34 (1.7/7) and was #1 in female teens (1.7/8). Speaking of rankings, TWINS was #3 in its time period among women 18-34 (1.7/6) and women 12-34 (1.6/6) as well as #2 in men 18-34 and #1 in female teens (1.3/6). REBA also was #2 in adults 18-34 (1.5/6) and persons 12-34 (1.4/5) and #3 in men 18-34 and women 18-49 (2.1/6).
TWINS week-to-week gains include +33% in persons 12-34, +18% in adults 18-34, +17% in adults 18-49 and +80% in teens. The 8 p.m. airing of WHAT I LIKE ABOUT YOU improved +30% over the previous week among adults 18-34 and persons 12-34. REBA improved over the previous week in all 18-34, 12-34 and 18-49 demos and over the parallel week last season in six key demos.
The three shows combined to give The WB its highest-ratings of the broadcast season in adults 18-34 (1.3/5), adults 18-49 (1.3/4), persons 12-34 (1.2/5), women 18-34 (1.8/6) and men 18-34 and 18-49. The WB was #1 from 8-10 p.m. in women 12-34 (1.7/6) and female teens (1.3/6) and #3 in adults 18-34 (1.3/5) and women 18-34 (1.8/6).
�Charmed� and �Reba: Beginnings� Score The WB's Best Sunday Of The Season
CHARMED continues its winning ways on Sunday, achieving #3 ranks in its time period among women 18-34 (2.6/7) and women 12-34 (2.8/8) as the venerable series achieved week-to-week gains in several demos, including +13% in women 18-34 (1.8/5), +18% in women 18-34 (2.6/7) and in total viewers (4.3 million).
REBA: BEGINNINGS had, by far, its best outing of the season with #3 ranks at both 7:00 and 7:30 p.m. among women 18-34 and women 12-34. Both episodes achieved almost across-the-board season bests.
REBA: BEGINNINGS achieved tremendous week-to-week and year-to-year gains nearly across the board in both airings. Some of those gains include, at 7 p.m., +83% over last week among adults 18-34 (1.1/4), +78% in women 18-34 (1.6/5), +57% in persons 12-34 (1.1/4), +60% in women 12-34 (1.6/5), +63% in adults 18-49 (1.3/4), +55% in women 18-49 (1.7/5) and +49% in total viewers (3.1 million). Over the parallel week last year, REBA: BEGINNINGS achieved gains at 7 p.m. of +38% in adults 18-34, +45% in men 18-34, +38% in persons 12-34, +45% in women 12-34, +86% in adults 18-49, +113% in women 18-49 and +69% in total viewers.
At 7:30 p.m., REBA: BEGINNINGS improved week-to-week, +71% in adults 18-34, +33% in persons 12-34, +30% in adults 18-49 and +27% in total viewers (3.4 million). Compared to the parallel week last season, REBA: BEGINNINGS grew its time period +50% in adults 18-34 (1.2/4), +70% in women 18-34 (1.7/5), +33% in persons 12-34 (1.2/4), +64% in women 12-34 (1.8/6), +44% in adults 18-49 (1.3/4), +80% in women 18-49 (1.8/5) and +47% in total viewers (3.4 million).
The encore run of SUPERNATURAL improved its time period over the previous year +13% in persons 12-34, +20% in men 12-34, +20% in men 18-34, +29% in adults 18-49, +22% in women 18-49, +40% in men 18-49 and +26% in total viewers.
The WB Sunday achieved its best ratings of the season in persons 12-34 (1.3/4), women 18-34 (1.8/5), women 12-34 (1.9/5), adults 18-49 (1.4/3), women 18-49 (1.7/4) and total viewers (3.2 million) and scored gains over last week and last year.
