CBS's WITHOUT A TRACE delivered season highs in viewers and key demographics, according to preliminary Nielsen affiliate ratings for Thursday, Jan. 19.
WITHOUT A TRACE won its time period in households (15.0/25), viewers (22.85m), adults 25-54 (9.0/22), adults 18-49 (7.3/19) and adults 18-34 (4.9/15). These represent season highs in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.
If the fast nationals hold, WITHOUT A TRACE will post its best retention of its CSI lead-in ever (original telecast to original telecast): 89% in households, 85% in viewers, 81% in adults 18-49 and 80% in both adults 18-34 and adults 25-54.
From 9:00-10:00 PM, CSI placed first in households (16.9/25), viewers (26.86m), adults 25-54 (11.2/24), adults 18-49 (9.0/22) and adults 18-34 (6.1/22).
For the night, CBS was first in households (13.8/22), viewers (21.63m), adults 25-54 (8.7/20), adults 18-49 (7.0/18) and adults 18-34 (4.7/14).
Final Thursday ratings will be available this afternoon.

CBS's WITHOUT A TRACE delivered season highs in viewers and key demographics, according to Live Plus Same Day National Nielsen ratings for Jan. 19th.
WITHOUT A TRACE won its time period in households (15.1/25), viewers (23.12m), adults 25-54 (9.1/22), adults 18-49 (7.3/19) and adults 18-34 (5.0/15). These represent season highs in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.
WITHOUT A TRACE posted its best ever retention of its CSI lead-in (original telecast to original telecast): 89% in households, 85% in viewers, 81% in adults 25-54, 80% in adults 18-49 and 82% in adults 18-34.
From 9:00-10:00PM, CSI placed first in households (16.9/25), viewers (27.13m), adults 25-54 (11.3/25), adults 18-49 (9.1/22) and adults 18-34 (6.1/16). CSI and WITHOUT A TRACE were the #1 and #2 programs of the night in households, viewers, adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.
For the night, CBS was first in households (13.8/22), viewers (21.70m), adults 25-54 (8.7/20), adults 18-49 (7.0/18) and adults 18-34 (4.7/14).
Last night's LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN with guests Cheryl Hines, Anna Nalick and Indianapolis Colts kicker Mike Vanderjagt delivered a 4.5/12 in the 55 Nielsen metered markets. LATE SHOW beat "The Tonight Show" by +5% (vs. 4.3/11). This is the third time LATE SHOW beat "The Tonight Show" this season.
Last night's THE LATE LATE SHOW with CRAIG FERGUSON, with guests Phyllis Diller, Col. Matthew Bogdanos and Rogue Wave, delivered a 2.1/08 in the 55 Nielsen metered markets, tying "Late Night With Conan O'Brien". This marked the third time LATE LATE SHOW has beaten or tied "Late Night" this season.
