CBS WINS MONDAY IN VIEWERS, ADULTS 18-49 AND ADULTS 25-54

"How I Met Your Mother," "Two and a Half Men" and "The New Adventures Of Old Christine" All Post Week-to-Week in Viewers and Key Demographics

"Christine" Delivers Its Largest Audience Since Its Second Episode Last Season

"CSI: Miami" Distances Itself From the Competition, Nearly Doubling "Studio 60�s" Audience

CBS won the third Monday of the season in viewers and key demographics as HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, TWO AND A HALF MEN and THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE all posted week-to-week increases in viewers and key demographics, according to preliminary live plus same day Nielsen ratings for Oct. 2.

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was second in households (6.2/09), viewers (9.44m), adults 25-54 (4.2/10) and third in adults 18-49 (3.6/09, -0.3 behind both NBC and FOX).

Compared to last week, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was up +7% in households (from 5.8/09), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 3.4/09), even in adults 25-54 and added +400, 000 viewers (from 9.14m, +3%).

TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in households (10.2/15), viewers (15.93m), adults 25-54 (6.7/15) and adults 18-49 (5.2/13). Compared to last week, TWO AND A HALF MEN was up +3% in households (from 9.9/15), +6% in adults 25-54 (from 6.3/14), +8% in adults 18-49 (from 4.8/12) and added +650,000 viewers (from 15.28m, +4%).

THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE was first in households (9.0/13), viewers (13.71m), second in adults 25-54 (5.9/13) and adults 18-49 (4.5/11). This is the best delivery for THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE in households, viewers and adults 25-54 since 3/20/06 and best delivery in adults 18-49 since 5/22/06.

Compared to last week, THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE was up +8% in households (from 8.3/12), +18% in both adults 25-54 (from 5.0/11) and adults 18-49 (from 3.8/09) and added +1.52m viewers (from 12.19m, +12%).

At 10PM, CSI MIAMI was first in households (11.1/18), viewers (17.35m), adults 25-54 (6.9/16), adults 18-49 (5.7/15) and adults 18-34 (4.3/12). CSI: MIAMI beat NBC's "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" by +85% in households (vs. 6.0/10), +68% in adults 25-54 (vs. 4.1/10), +63% in adults 18-49 (vs. 3.5/09), +39% in adults 18-34 (vs. 3.1/09) and by +8.29m viewers (vs. 9.06m, +92%).

CBS built on its lead over NBC at 10:00 PM compared to last week by +5.1 rating points in households (from +4.3), by +2.8 rating points in adults 25-54 (from +2.2), by +2.2 rating points in adults 18-49 (from +1.6) and by +8.29m viewers (from +6.96m).

For the night, CBS was first in households (8.9/14), viewers (13.63m), adults 25-54 (5.7/13) and adults 18-49 (4.6/12).

CBS won the third Monday of the season in viewers and key demographics as HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, TWO AND A HALF MEN and THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE all posted week-to-week increases in viewers and key demographics, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Oct. 2.

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was second in households (6.1/09), viewers (9.32m), adults 25-54 (4.2/10) and third in adults 18-49 (3.6/09, -0.3 behind FOX, -0.4 behind NBC).

Compared to last week, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was up +5% in households (from 5.8/09), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 3.4/09), even in adults 25-54 and added +180,000 viewers (from 9.14m, +2%).

TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in households (10.2/15), viewers (15.80m), adults 25-54 (6.6/14) and second in adults 18-49 (5.1/12, -0.2 behind NBC). Compared to last week, TWO AND A HALF MEN was up +3% in households (from 9.9/15), +5% in adults 25-54 (from 6.3/14), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 4.8/12) and added +520,000 viewers (from 15.28m, +3%).

THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE was first in households (8.9/13), viewers (13.60m), adults 25-54 (5.7/12) and second in adults 18-49 (4.4/10). This is the best delivery for THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE in households, viewers and adults 25-54 since 3/20/06 and best delivery in adults 18-49 since 5/22/06.

Compared to last week, THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE was up +7% in households (from 8.3/12), +14% in adults 25-54 (from 5.0/11), +16% in adults 18-49 (from 3.8/09) and added +1.41m viewers (from 12.19m, +11%).

At 10PM, CSI MIAMI was first in households (11.4/18), viewers (17.90m), adults 25-54 (7.1/17), adults 18-49 (5.9/15) and adults 18-34 (4.4/12). CSI: MIAMI was the night's top program in households, viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

CSI: MIAMI beat NBC's "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" by +90% in households (vs. 6.0/10), +73% in adults 25-54 (vs. 4.1/10), +74% in adults 18-49 (vs. 3.4/09), +52% in adults 18-34 (vs. 2.9/08) and by +9.05m viewers (vs. 8.85m, +102%).

CBS built on its lead over NBC at 10:00 PM compared to last week by +5.4 rating points in households (from +4.3), by +3.0 rating points in adults 25-54 (from +2.2), by +2.5 rating points in adults 18-49 (from +1.6), +1.5 rating points in adults 18-34 (from +0.4) and by +9.05m viewers (from +6.96m).
