'GHOST HUNTERS' WRAPS HIGHEST-RATED, MOST-WATCHED SEASON YET!
SCI FI Series Celebrates Double Digit Increases in Ratings and Delivery
NEW YORK, NY--November 16, 2006--SCI FI's hit series 'Ghost Hunters' wrapped its third season last night with a 1.4 HH rating, 1.8 million viewers P2+, 1.1 million P25-54s and 1.2 million P18-49s. New episodes of 'Ghost Hunters' will return in 2007.
--This is 'Ghost Hunters' highest-rated and most-watched season in HH ratings and all key demos.
The six episodes since the 'Ghost Hunters' season three premiere (10/11/06) have averaged a 1.3 HH rating, 1.6 million P2+ viewers, 1 million P25-54s and 1.1 million P18-49s.
--Season three also marked the first time audience numbers in the key P18-49 and P25-54 demos averaged over 1 million viewers throughout its run.
--Compared to the last original run of 'Ghost Hunters' episodes (3/29/06-5/31/06), this season was up double digits across the board: +30% in HH ratings, +25% in P2+ viewers, +32% in P25-54s and +36% in P18-49s.
The season three finale of 'Ghost Hunters' featured the show's first-ever overseas excursion. This fall SCI FI also debuted 'Ghost Hunters Live,' the unprecedented live, 6-Hour Halloween-night investigation that scared up triple-digit ratings growth for the Channel.
