ABC led the week of November 13, 2006 among Adults 18-49, defeating second-place CBS by 10% (4.4/12 vs. 4.0/11). ABC has been the No. 1 in Adults 18-49 on 8 of 9 weeks this season. ABC also took the No. 1 position for the week in the other two key adult demographics - Adults 18-34 (3.5/11) and Adults 25-54 (5.1/12 - tie).
� ABC attracted its largest weekly audience (13.0 million) in more than 9 months � since the week of 1/30/06, the week of the 2006 Super Bowl. The Network matched its top Adult 18-49 number (4.4/12) since February � since the week of 2/27/06, the week of the 2006 Academy Awards.
� Even without the benefit of �Monday Night Football� in its averages this year, as it had on the year-ago week, ABC delivered more viewers than during the same week last year (13.0 million vs. 11.7 million � w/o 11/7/05), marking its 9th straight week of year-over-year viewer gains. Season to date on an �all programming� basis, ABC is up in both Total Viewers (12.0 million vs. 10.9 million) and Adults 18-49 (4.2/11 vs. 4.1/11).
� Excluding sports from the averages this season and last, to adjust for the loss of �Monday Night Football,� ABC�s primetime numbers have surged by 22% in Total Viewers (12.6 million vs. 10.3 million) and by 13% in Adults 18-49 (4.4/12 vs. 3.9/10). On both measures, ABC is posting the biggest gains of any broadcaster in the �non-sports� averages. Through 18 complete nights of the 2006 November Sweep (through Sunday 11/19/06), ABC�s �non-sports� numbers have climbed by 26% in Total Viewers (13.4 million vs. 10.6 million) and by 15% in Adults 18-49 (4.6/12 vs. 4.0/11), the largest increases for any net.
Weekly Rankings: ABC aired 7 of the week�s Top 20 TV programs in Adults 18-49, including the Top 2: �Grey�s Anatomy� � No. 1, �Desperate Housewives� � No. 2, �Dancing with the Stars� � No. 4, �DWTS the Results� � No. 5, �Extreme Makeover: Home Edition� and �Brothers & Sisters� tied at No. 12 and �Barbara Walters SP � 11/16� � No. 19. ABC�s �Grey�s Anatomy� has been the No. 1 TV program in Adults 18-49 on 6 occasions this season, while ABC has captured the top-rated show in the key sales demo on all 9 weeks of the season. With Tuesday�s penultimate episode of �Dancing with the Stars� and the series� third season finale on Wednesday, ABC now claims the Top 2 most-watched TV telecasts on any network this season, placing 4 of the Top 5 most-watched TV shows for the week: �DWTS the Results� � No. 1, �DWTS� � No. 2, �Desperate Housewives� � No. 4 and �Grey�s Anatomy� � No. 5. Disney-owned ABC delivered the Top 3 broadcasts during the week among Kids 2-11 with �DWTS,� �Home Edition� and �DWTS the Results,� respectively.
Monday
�The Bachelor: Rome� (9:00-10:00 p.m.)
From 9:00-10:00 p.m. �The Bachelor� built on its lead-in and grew by 9% in Total Viewers and by 10% in Adults 18-49 from start to finish. �The Bachelor: Rome� took second place in its time period with season-best deliveries among Adults 18-34 (3.1/8) and Women 18-34 (4.6/11).
�What About Brian� (10:00-11:00 p.m.)
ABC�s �What About Brian� took second in the hour, beating NBC�s �Studio 60� across each of the key women demographics: Women 18-34 (3.2/9), Women 18-49 (3.5/9) and Women 25-54 (3.7/9).
Tuesday
ABC delivered a dominant first-place finish on Tuesday, outpacing its nearest competition by 7.2 million viewers (19.7 million vs. 12.5 million - CBS) and by 39% in Adults 18-49 (5.7/15 vs. 4.1/11 � Fox). ABC marked its 10th straight week as Tuesday�s most-watched TV network, representing the Net�s longest winning streak on the night in more than 5 years � since a streak that went from the weeks of 3/6 - 5/15/01. The Network also ranked No. 1 on the evening among Adults 25-54 (7.0/17), Adults 18-34 (4.3/13), Teens 12-17 (2.6/9) and Kids 2-11 (2.7/12). ABC delivered the most-watched night of television this season � any night/any network.
� ABC generated its largest non sports Tuesday night audience in well over 6 years and its top Adult 18-49 number in more than 3 years � since 11/4/03.
� Versus the year-ago night, ABC�s November Sweep delivery was up by 9.4 million viewers and by 78% in Adults 18-49 (10.3 million & 3.2/8 on 11/15/05).
�Dancing with the Stars� (8:00-9:31 p.m.)
Tuesday's No. 1 TV program in viewers and young adults, ABC's penultimate episode of �Dancing with the Stars� dominated its time period with season-high results in Total Viewers (26.8 million) and Adults 18-49 (7.5/20). In fact on both counts they were the second-highest numbers ever for the series, behind only its second season finale on 2/26/06. �DWTS� generated the largest audience for any TV telecast on any network this season.
� �Dancing with the Stars� attracted ABC�s biggest audience and top non-sports Adult 18-49 rating in the time period since May 2000 � since 5/2/00.
�Show Me the Money� (9:31-11:00 p.m.)
Prior to its move to its regular Wednesday 8 o�clock time period next week (on 11/22/06), ABC�s series preview of �Show Me the Money,� hosted by William Shatner, received strong sampling with an average audience of 12.4 million viewers and a 3.8/10 in Adults 18-49.
� The new ABC game show opened at nearly identical levels to that of NBC�s debut telecast of the gamer �Deal or No Deal� (11.6 million viewers & 3.9/11 in AD18-49 on 12/19/05).
� �Show Me the Money� generated ABC�s strongest performance in the time period since season premiere Tuesday � 9/19/06. The Net�s numbers in the slot were up from the same night last November by 5% in Viewers and by 9% in Adults 18-49 (11.8 million & 3.5/9 on 11/15/05).
Wednesday
ABC won its 7th consecutive Wednesday among Adults 18-49 (4.8/12), leading the evening for the second week in a row among Total Viewers (16.1 million).
� ABC�s third season finale of �Dancing with the Stars� stood as the No. 1 TV program on Wednesday across the board, including Total Viewers (27.5 million), Adults 25-54 (9.0/22), Adults 18-49 (7.1/19), Adults 18-34 (4.8/14), Teens 12-17 (3.1/10) and Kids 2-11 (4.0/13).
�Dancing with the Stars the Results Show� (8:00-9:02 p.m.)
With an average audience of 27.5 million viewers and a 7.1 rating, 19 share among Adults 18-49, ABC�s �Dancing with the Stars the Results Show� took first place during Wednesday's 8 o'clock hour for the 10th week in a row. From 8:00-9:00 p.m., the ABC dance finale overshadowed second-place CBS' �Jericho� by 18.2 million viewers (27.5 million vs. 9.3 million) and by 145% in Adults 18-49 (7.1/19 vs. 2.9/8). In fact �DWTS� outdrew the combined audiences of CBS, NBC and Fox in the hour by 3.9 million viewers (27.5 million vs. 23.6 million). NFL champion Emmitt Smith won the ABC dance competition. ABC�s �Dancing� season closer attracted the series� largest-ever audience.
� With Tuesday�s penultimate episode (26.8 million) and Wednesday�s season finale of �DWTS� (27.5 million), ABC now lays claim to the Top 2 most-watched telecasts on TV this season.
� ABC�s �Dancing� achieved season highs in the time period in viewers and young adults, delivering the Net�s largest audience in the time period with series programming since May 2000 and its top Adult 18-49 number in nearly 1-1/2 years � since 5/3/00 and 5/25/05, respectively.
�Day Break� (9:02-11:00 p.m.)
The debut telecast of ABC�s �Day Break� took second place in its 2-hour time period, beating out NBC�s season premiere of �Medium� in Total Viewers (10.2 million vs. 9.4 million) and Adults 18-49 (3.6/9 vs. 3.5/9).
� After some of the audience from its enormous �DWTS� lead-in filtered out during the first half-hour, �Day Break� delivered a solid 9 share among Adults 18-49 in each half-hour from 9:30-11:00 p.m.
Thursday
ABC won Thursday night among Adults 18-34 (5.2/15) and finished in a virtual tie for first place with CBS among Adults 18-49 (5.8/15 vs. 5.9/15). ABC has qualified as Thursday�s No. 1 network among Adults 18-34 on all 9 weeks this season.
� ABC was up from the prior Thursday by 11% in viewers (15.6 million vs. 14.1 million) and 7% in young adults (5.8/15 vs. 5.4/14), drawing its largest audience on the night in 7 weeks, and matched its best Adult 18-49 number in 6 weeks � since 9/28/06 and 10/5/06, respectively.
� ABC�s numbers jumped substantially from the same Thursday last November, increasing by 144% in Total Viewers and 164% in Adults 18-49 from the same night last November (6.4 million & 2.2/6 on 11/17/05).
�Ugly Betty� (8:00-9:00 p.m.)
ABC�s �Ugly Betty� took a strong second place to �Survivor� during the opening hour on Thursday evening among Viewers (13.0 million), while winning its time period and beating the CBS reality show by 21% with Women 18-34 (5.2/15 vs. 4.3/13). In fact �Betty� has led its hour among its core audience of Women 18-34 on all 8 of the ABC freshman series� telecasts. The new ABC series increased its audience week to week (13.0 million vs. 12.8 million).
� On average this season, �Ugly Betty� has improved its time slot for ABC by 94% in Total Viewers (14.0 million vs. 7.2 million) and by 96% in Adults 18-49 (4.5/12 vs. 2.3/6) from the same nights last year.
�Grey�s Anatomy� (9:00-10:01 p.m.)
ABC's �Grey's Anatomy� held the No. 1 position during the 9 o�clock hour across the adult demographics: AD18-34/AD18-49/AD25-54 (tie). In the key Adult 18-49 sales demographic, the ABC medical drama defeated the CBS crime drama by 9% (8.7/21 vs. 8.0/19). �Grey�s� has beaten �C.S.I.� in Adults 18-49 on all 8 occasions where both shows have been in originals this season.
� �Grey�s� increased its delivery week to week in Total Viewers (20.9 million vs. 20.7 million) and Adults 18-49 (8.7/21 vs. 8.6/21).

During the 10 o'clock hour, ABC's �Barbara Walters Special: 30 Mistakes in 30 Years Part 1� took second place, beating out originals of NBC�s �ER� in Total Viewers (12.9 million vs. 12.5 million) and CBS� ��Shark� among Adults 18-49 (4.8/13 vs. 4.4/12).
� Part 1 of the �Barbara Walters Special� qualifies as ABC�s most-watched non-sports telecast in the time period in more than 3-1/2 years � since 4/24/03.

In the final hour of primetime, ABC's �Barbara Walters Special: 30 Mistakes in 30 Years Part 2� attracted the Net�s largest audience (9.3 million) in the hour in 10 months and strongest ratings among Adults 18-49 (2.9/9 � tied) and Adults 25-54 (3.7/10) in 7 months � since 1/20/06 and 4/21/06, respectively.
� Part 2 of the �Barbara Walters Special� finished second in the hour among Adults 18-49 (2.9/9) and Adults 25-54 (3.7/10 � tied), while winning the time-slot among Women 18-49 (3.7/11) and Men 18-34 (1.7/7).
Saturday
�Saturday Night Football: California at USC� (8:00-11:00 p.m.)
With �Saturday Night Football,� ABC won the evening in primetime, delivering the Net�s strongest numbers in 10 weeks (since 9/9/06) in Total Viewers (9.2 million) and across each of the key adult demographics: Adults 18-34 (2.8/11), Adults 18-49 (3.2/10) and Adults 25-54 3.5/10).
� ABC�s �Saturday Night Football� (8:05 � 11:06 p.m.), featuring the USC Trojans and the California Bears, delivered the franchise�s second-strongest numbers this season in Total Viewers (9.2 million) and Adults 18-49 (3.2/10).
Sunday
ABC�s all-entertainment lineup won Sunday night among Adults 18-49, beating out second-place NBC�s �Sunday Night Football� coverage by 12% (5.6/14 vs. 4.0/12). ABC also ranked No. 1 on the evening with Adults 18-34 (4.3/12-tie) and Adults 25-54 (6.6/15).
� For the 9th consecutive Sunday, ABC�s �Desperate Housewives� qualified as the No. 1 TV program in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49. Putting up a strong performance opposite CBS NFL overrun and NBC�s sports coverage during the 7 o�clock hour, ABC�s �America�s Funniest Home Videos� was up from the prior week in Total Viewers (10.6 million vs. 9.9 million) and Adults 18-49 (3.1/8 vs. 3.0/8). �AFHV� generated audience for ABC throughout the opening hour of the night, jumping by 2.0 million viewers (9.6 million to 11.6 million) and by 30% in Adults 18-49 (2.7/7 to 3.5/9) from start to finish.
�Extreme Makeover: Home Edition� (8:00-9:00 p.m.)
From 8:00-9:00 p.m., ABC�s �Extreme Makeover: Home Edition� won the 8 o�clock hour in Total Viewers (15.3 million) and Adults 18-49 (5.4/13), topping CBS in viewers (14.3 million � �60 Minutes�/�Amazing Race�) and NBC�s Sunday Night Football in young adults (4.5/11).
� Exhibiting wide appeal, ABC�s �Home Edition� stood as the No. 1 TV program of the evening with Kids 2-11 (4.1/13), matching the series� highest rating in 9 months � since 2/12/06.
�Desperate Housewives� (9:00-10:01 p.m.)
Sunday�s No. 1 TV show among Total Viewers and Adults 18-49 (21.6 million & 8.6/19), ABC�s �Desperate Housewives� led its time period competition by wide margins, including NBC�s �Sunday Night Football� (15.5 million & 5.8/13).
� Despite going up against NFL football across the country, �Desperate Housewives� hit its second-best Men 18-49 number (5.7/13) this season, while marking a season high with Men 25-54 (7.0/15).
�Brothers & Sisters� (10:01-11:00 p.m.)
ABC�s freshman drama �Brothers & Sisters� won the 10 o�clock hour in Adults 25-54 (6.3/14). In the key young adult sales demographic, the ABC freshman beat its CBS veteran drama competition in the time period by 26% (5.4/13 vs. 4.3/11 - �Cold Case�/�Without a Trace�).
� �Brothers & Sisters� was up from the prior week in both Total Viewers (13.0 million vs. 12.8 million) and Adults 18-49 (5.4/13 vs. 5.1/13). In fact, �Brothers & Sisters� matched its highest Adult 18-49 rating since its debut telecast (on 9/24/06), while posting series highs with Men 18-49 (3.1/8-tie) and Men 25-54 (3.8/9-tie).
