ABC bested NBC during the week by 1.4 million viewers (8.7 million vs. 7.3 million) and by 22% in Adults 18-49 (2.8/8 vs. 2.3/7), while earning second place to Fox among key women and kids: Women 18-34 (3.1/9), Women 18-49 (3.8/10) and Kids 2-11 (1.2/5).

Weekly Rankings: ABC aired 3 of the Top 10 TV programs during the week among Adults 18-49: "Dancing with the Stars" � No. 6, "Lost" � No. 7, and "Dancing with the Stars the Results" � No. 10. Although its airs in a later 10 o'clock time period with lower overall television usage levels, ABC's "Lost" was a Top 10 TV program during the week with all key adult demographics (AD18-34 � No. 6, AD18-49 � No. 7 & Adults 25-54 � No. 9) and among Teens 12-17 (No. 8).

Monday

With the second week of "Dancing with the Stars" and the season finale of "What About Brian," ABC ranked as the No. 1 TV network on Monday for the second week in a row among viewers and young adults. ABC beat second-place Fox during prime by 6.0 million viewers (16.0 million vs. 10.0 million) and by 20% in Adults 18-49 (4.9/13 vs. 4.1/11).

� ABC was up from the same Monday last year by 6.7 million viewers and by 29% in Adults 18-49 (9.3 million & 3.8/9 on 3/27/06).

� For the second straight week, ABC's broad appealing "Dancing with the Stars" qualified as Monday's No. 1 TV show in Total Viewers, across the adult demos (AD18-34/AD18-49/AD25-54), among Teens 12-17 and Kids 2-11.

"Dancing with the Stars" (8:00-10:02 p.m.)

On its second telecast, ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" delivered another dominant victory in its time period. "Dancing with the Stars" towered over its closest competitors by 8.8 million viewers (20.4 million vs. 11.6 million - NBC) and by 44% in Adults 18-49 (5.9/15 vs. 4.1/11 - Fox). Ranking No. 1 in each half-hour and building steadily throughout its broadcast, "DWTS" grew by 3.4 million viewers (18.0 million to 21.4 million) and by 31% in Adults 18-49 (4.9/14 to 6.4/15) from start to finish.

� "Dancing with the Stars" retained nearly all of its week-ago premiere audience in Total Viewers (94% - 20.4 million vs. 21.8 million) and Adults 18-49 (92% - 5.9/15 vs. 6.4/16). ABC's hit unscripted series held on to 100% of its premiere number with Women 18-34 (6.5/16).

� Compared to the series' second performance show last September, "DWTS" was up by 2.2 million viewers and by 13% in Adults 18-49 (18.2 million & 5.2/14 on 9/19/06).

"What About Brian" (10:02-11:00 p.m.)

On its season finale, "What About Brian" ranked No. 1 in its time period in Adults 18-34 (2.7/8) and Women 18-34 (3.8/11). Also during the 10 o'clock hour, ABC's "What About Brian" beat NBC's "The Black Donnellys" by 26% in Total Viewers (6.8 million vs. 5.4 million) and by 27% in Adults 18-49 (2.8/8 vs. 2.2/6).

� "What About Brian" delivered its largest audience and highest Adult 18-49 number since October � since 10/16/06 and 10/30/06, respectively.

Tuesday

Boosted by the season opener for "Dancing with the Stars the Results Show," ABC took second place to "Idol"-driven Fox in Total Viewers (11.0 million), Adults 25-54 (3.6/9-tie), Women 18-49 (3.9/10) and Kids 2-11 (1.5/6).

� ABC delivered its largest Tuesday night audience (11.0 million) in more than 4 months and its top Adult 18-49 number (2.8/8) on the night in over 3 months � since 11/14/06 and 12/12/06, respectively. The Network was up from the same Tuesday last year by 4.3 million viewers and by 22% in Adults 18-49 (6.7 million & 2.3/6 on 3/28/06).

"Dancing with the Stars: Performance Recap Show" (8:00-9:04 p.m.)

A special recapping of the first two performance shows for "DWTS" this season took second place in its time period to Fox's "American Idol" with Women 18-49 (3.2/8) and Women 25-54 (4.1/9).

� "Dancing with the Stars: Performance Recap Show" produced the Net's biggest audience (9.6 million) in the time slot since December and its top Adult 18-49 number (2.2/6) since early January � since 12/12/06 and 1/9/07, respectively.

"Dancing with the Stars the Results Show" (9:04-10:00 p.m.)

Despite facing an "American Idol"-boosted Fox in the 9 o'clock hour ("Idol" ran until 9:07 p.m. ET), ABC's "Dancing with the Stars the Results Show" opened with its best-ever numbers. "DWTS the Results Show" took a strong second in its time period to Fox in Total Viewers (17.9 million) and Adults 18-49 (4.5/11). Supermodel Paulina Porizkova was the first celebrity dancer to be eliminated from the contest.

� Marking its best start ever, "Dancing with the Stars the Results Show" was up by 1.6 million viewers and by 10% in Adults 18-49 from its season opener last September (16.3 million & 4.1/13 on 9/13/06) and jumped by 5.0 million viewers and 50% in Adults 18-49 from its year ago January opener (12.9 million & 3.0/9 on 1/6/06).

� "DWTS the Results Show" generated ABC's third-largest audience in the hour this season and its best Adult 18-49 number in 4 months (since 11/21/06).

Wednesday

ABC took second place to Fox on Wednesday evening among Adults 18-49 (2.8/8) Adults 18-34 (2.5/8).

"According to Jim" (9:00-9:30 p.m.)

Building on its lead-in by 27% among Adults 18-49 (1.9/5 vs. 1.5/4), ABC's "According to Jim" beat NBC's "Crossing Jordan" (1.8/5) in the key young adult demo.

"Lost" (10:00-11:00 p.m.)

Jumping from its lead-in by 7.2 million viewers (11.5 million vs. 4.3 million) and by 168% in young adults (5.1/14 vs. 1.9/5), "Lost" won Wednesday's 10 o'clock hour in Total Viewers (11.5 million) and across the adult demographics: Adults 18-34 (4.8/14), Adults 18-49 (5.1/14) and Adults 25-54 (5.4/14). In fact the ABC drama has won its hour in the key Adult 18-49 sales demographic on all 8 telecasts since entering in its new time slot.

� "Lost" grew the time period for ABC from the same night last year by 3.8 million viewers and 70% in Adults 18-49 (7.7 million & 3.0/8 on 3/29/06).

Thursday

With yet another solid outing for newcomer "October Road" this week, coming out of repeats of "Grey's" and "Ugly Betty," ABC delivered a solid second place to CBS' original lineup in Total Viewers (8.4 million) and Adults 18-49 (3.2/9). In fact ABC's 2/3 repeat schedule ranked No. 1 on Thursday with Women 18-34, beating CBS' original schedule (4.7/13 vs. 4.6/13).

� Compared to the same night last year when its lineup was all-original, ABC was up by 8% in Total Viewers and by 10% in Adults 18-49 (7.8 million & 2.9/8 on 3/30/06).

"Ugly Betty" (8:00-9:00 p.m.)

Opposite originals of CBS' "Survivor" and Fox's "Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?," ABC's replay "Ugly Betty" bested NBC's back-to-back "The Office" replays in the 8 o'clock hour by 2.5 million viewers (7.4 million vs. 4.9 million). The two nets tied among Adults 18-49 (2.3/7).

� "Ugly Betty" was up by 1.4 million viewers and by 44% in Adults 18-49 from its most recent encore telecast (6.0 million & 1.6/4 on 3/8/06), representing its strongest repeat performance since January (1/25/07).

"Grey's Anatomy" (9:00-10:02 p.m.)

Against an original "C.S.I.," a repeat airing of ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" took second place in the 9 o'clock hour in Total Viewers (9.5 million) and Adults 18-49 (3.6/10). ABC's repeat "Grey's topped third-place NBC's repeat and original comedies ("The Office"/"Andy Parker, P.I.") by 4.5 million viewers and by 44% in Adults 18-49 (NBC = 5.0 million & 2.5/7).

� Versus its most recent repeat airing, "Grey's Anatomy" grew its delivery by 1.1 million viewers and by 20% in Adults 18-49 (8.4 million & 3.0/7 on 3/8/07).

"October Road" (10:02-11:00 p.m.)

Despite CBS' lead-in advantage coming into the hour from a first-run "C.S.I.," ABC's "October Road" built on its lead-in to win its hour in Adults 18-34 and beat CBS' original "Shark" by 28% (3.7/12 vs. 2.9/9). "October Road" also ranked No. 1 in its time slot with Women 18-49 (5.3/14) and Women 18-34 (5.6/16). In fact, the new ABC drama was the No. 2 TV show on Thursday night with Women 18-34, behind only CBS' original airing of the veteran "C.S.I."

� "October Road" built on its lead-in among Adults 18-34 (3.7/12 vs. 3.6/11) and Women 18-34 (5.6/16 vs. 5.4/15). The new series held 97% of its Adult 18-49 lead-in (3.5/10 vs. 3.6/10).

� Versus the same night last year (3/30/06), "October Road" improved the time period for ABC by 1.7 million viewers (8.2 million vs. 6.5 million) and by 30% in Adults 18-49 (3.5/10 vs. 2.7/7).

Sunday

Although its middle two hours were comprised of rebroadcast programming against mostly original series on the other networks, ABC dominated Sunday night among Adults 18-49. During Sunday's primetime, ABC (3.3/9) beat out second-place CBS by 18% (2.8/8), third-place Fox by 22% (2.7/8) and fourth-place NBC by 50% (2.2/6).

� In Total Viewers (9.4 million) and Adults 18-49 (3.3/9), the Network posted its strongest Sunday in 4 weeks � since 3/4/07.

"America's Funniest Home Videos" (7:00-8:00 p.m.)

ABC's "America's Funniest Home Videos" won the 7 o'clock hour in Adults 18-49, beating its nearest competitor by 40% among Adults 18-49 (2.8/9 vs. 2.0/7 � CBS' "60 Minutes"). The venerable ABC video clip show also ranked No. 1 in the hour among Adults 25-54 (3.2/10), Adults 18-34 (2.0/8), Teens 12-17 (1.5/6) and Kids 2-11 (2.2/9).

"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" (8:00-9:00 p.m.)

A rebroadcast installment of ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" won the 8 o'clock hour in viewers and young adults. "Home Edition" bested its closest competition by 9% in Total Viewers (9.9 million vs. 9.1 million � NBC's "Dateline") and by 13% in Adults 18-49 (3.5/9 vs. 3.1/9 � Fox's "The Simpsons"/"King of the Hill"). ABC's broad skewing "Home Edition" replay tied as the No. 1 TV show on Sunday in Adults 18-49 and was also the top-rated series with Kids 2-11 (2.7/10).

"Desperate Housewives: The Juiciest Bites" (9:00-10:01 p.m.)

ABC's special clip show, "Desperate Housewives: The Juiciest Bites," led Sunday's 9 o'clock hour in Adults 18-49 (3.5/9), also qualifying as the No. 1 TV show of the night in the key young adult sales demo (tied w/ ABC's "Home Edition" at 8:00 p.m. and CBS' "Cold Case" at 10:00 p.m.). The "Housewives" season recap special also won its time slot and ranked as Sunday's No. 1 television show with Women 18-34 (4.0/11) and Women 18-49 (4.8/12).

"Brothers & Sisters" (10:01-11:00 p.m.)

ABC's "Brother's Sisters" took second place in the 10 o'clock hour among Total Viewers (9.2 million) and Adults 18-49 (3.4/9), while ranking No. 1 with Adults 18-34 (2.5/7-tie), Women 18-49 (4.8/12) and Women 18-34 (3.6/10). "Brothers & Sisters" tied "Desperate Housewives: The Juiciest Bites" to rank as Sunday's No. 1 TV show among Women 18-49.
