Finishing a strong second during the week of 4/16/07 in Adults 18-49, ABC marked its second week in a row to hold the No. 2 position to "Idol"-fueled Fox in the key young adult sales demo. Among Adults 18-49, ABC (3.3/9) beat third-place CBS by 27% (2.6/7) and fourth-place NBC by 57% (2.1/7). Additionally, ABC ranked No. 1 in Adults 18-49 on 4 of 7 nights during the week (Mon/Thurs/Fri/Sun). ABC earned first-place during the week across each of the key women demos: W18-34 (3.9/11- tied w/Fox), W18-49 (4.5/12) and W25-54 (4.9/12).

� ABC's delivery was up from the same week last year by 1.6 million viewers and by 18% in Adults 18-49 (w/o 4/17/06 = 7.9 million & 2.8/8). In fact ABC was the only broadcaster to grow its numbers from the year-ago week.

� The Net attracted its largest audience (9.5 million) and top Adult 18-49 rating (3.3/9) in 8 weeks - since the week of 2/19/07, the week of its 2007 Academy Awards telecast. It was the Net's third straight weekly frame to increase its Adult 18-49 audience.

Weekly Rankings: ABC aired 8 of the week's Top 20 TV shows among Adults 18-49, including 4 of the Top 7 shows in the key sales demo: "Grey's Anatomy" � No. 4, "Desperate Housewives" � No. 5, "Lost" � No. 6, "Dancing with the Stars-MON" � No. 7, "Dancing with the Stars the Results-TU" � No. 13, "October Road" and "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" tied at No. 14 and "The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman" � No. 17. ABC also claimed 4 of the week's Top 10 most-watched television programs: "Grey's Anatomy" � No. 4, "Dancing with the Stars-MON" � No. 5, "DWTS the Results Show-TU" � No. 6 and "Desperate Housewives" � No. 7. "Grey's" ranked as the week's No. 1 scripted program with Adults 18-34 and was also the week's top-rated show with Women 18-34. ABC's "Lost" continued to stand as the No. 1 10 o'clock TV show on any network during the week in Adults 18-49.

Monday

ABC qualified as Monday's most-watched TV network (14.0 million) for the 5th week in a row. For the 4th time in the past 5 weeks, ABC delivered the No. 1 position on the night among Adults 18-49 (4.3/11). The Net topped second-place CBS on the evening by 2.4 million viewers and by 10% in Adults 18-49 (CBS = 11.6 million & 3.9/10).

� Among Total Viewers, ABC is delivering its longest Monday winning streak in more than 5-1/2 years � since a 6-week run during 2001, from 8/20-9/30/01.

"Dancing with the Stars" (8:00-9:31 p.m.)

Continuing to dominate its time slot, ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" was once again the No. 1 TV program on Monday in Total Viewers (18.9 million) and Adults 18-49 (5.1/13). In addition to taking the lead with Total Viewers and Adults 18-49, the wide appealing ABC unscripted series also delivered the No. 1 position in its slot among Adults 25-54 (6.1/15), Adults 18-34 (3.5/10) and Kids 2-11 (2.6/9).

� "Dancing with the Stars" was up from the prior week in Total Viewers (18.9 million vs. 18.8 million), Adults 18-49 (5.1/13 vs. 4.8/13) and Adults 18-34 (3.5/10 vs. 3.3/10).

"The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman" (9:31-11:00 p.m.)

"The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman" took second place in its time period in Adults 18-49 (3.5/9), while ranking No. 1 in Adults 18-34 (3.2/9) and Women 18-34 (4.8/12). Additionally, "The Bachelor" trailed only ABC's "DWTS" to rank as Monday's No. 2 television program in Women 18-34.

� "The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman" was up week to week in Adults 18-49 (3.5/9 vs. 3.4/9), while matching its best-yet number among Adults 18-34 (3.2/9).

Tuesday

ABC placed second on the night in Total Viewers (11.8 million) and Adult 18-49 (3.0/8), registering its best Tuesday numbers in both Nielsen measures since November � since 11/14/06 and 11/28/06, respectively.

"Dancing with the Stars the Results Show - TU" (9:00-10:02 p.m.)

Surging from its lead-in by 9.6 million viewers and by 133% among young adults against Fox's "American Idol"-fueled "House" in the 9 o'clock hour, ABC's "Dancing with the Stars the Results Show - TU" posted a competitive second-place finish in its time period in Total Viewers (16.5 million) and Adults 18-49 (4.2/10). NBA Hall of Famer Clyde Drexler was the fourth celebrity dancer to be eliminated from the ABC dance contest.

� "DWTS the Results Show" retained 100% of its Adults 18-49 rating (4.2/10) from the prior week, while posting increases in Adults 18-34 (2.9/8 vs. 2.8/8) and Women 18-34 (4.1/10 vs. 3.9/10).

Wednesday

ABC took second place to Fox on Wednesday evening among Adults 18-49 (3.0/8), topping third-place CBS by 7% (2.8/8) and fourth-place NBC by 30% (2.3/6).

"According to Jim" (8:00-8:30 p.m.)

"According to Jim" matched ABC's top Adult 18-49 number (2.2/7) in the time slot since February � since 02/14/07.

"Notes from the Underbelly" (8:30-9:00 p.m.)

The time period premiere of "Notes from the Underbelly" posted the Net's highest Adults 18-34 (2.3/7) and Women 18-34 (3.1/9) ratings in the time slot in 5 months � since 11/15/06.

� ABC's "Notes from the Underbelly" built on its lead-in in by 9% in Adults 18-49 (2.4/7 vs. 2.2/7) and by 35% in Adults 18-34 (2.3/7 vs. 1.7/6).

"Lost" (10:00-11:00 p.m.)

Building on its lead-in by 8.3 million viewers (12.1 million vs. 3.8 million) and by 253% in young adults (5.3/14 vs. 1.5/4), "Lost" took the top spot in Wednesday's 10 o'clock hour in Total Viewers (12.1 million) and across the adult demographics: Adults 18-34 (4.9/14), Adults 18-49 (5.3/14) and Adults 25-54 (5.6/14). In fact the ABC drama has won its hour in the key Adult 18-49 sales demographic on all 11 telecasts since entering its new time slot.

� "Lost" saw increases over its week-ago deliveries in Adults 18-49 (5.3/14 vs. 5.2/14) and Adults 18-34 (4.9/14 vs. 4.8/14). In fact "Lost" posted its strongest Adults 18-34 performance in 6 weeks � since 3/7/07.

� "Lost" improved the hour for ABC over the same night last year by 5.0 million viewers and 104% in Adults 18-49 (7.1 million & 2.6/7 on 4/12/06).

Thursday

With an all-original lineup featuring the return of "October Road" this week, ABC led Thursday night, outperforming second-place CBS by 5% in Total Viewers (13.5 million vs. 12.8 million) and by 47% in Adults 18-49 (5.3/15 vs. 3.6/10).

"Ugly Betty" (8:00-9:00 p.m.)

Opposite competition that included CBS' "Survivor: Fiji" and Fox's "Are You Smarter the a 5th Grader?," ABC's "Ugly Betty" took second in the hour among Adults 18-34 (2.8/9), while winning the time period among Women 18-34 (4.3/13).

"Grey's Anatomy" (9:00-10:01 p.m.)

ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" dominated the 9 o'clock hour in Total Viewers (21.1 million) and Adults 18-49 (8.6/22). The ABC drama outdrew its closest competition by 8.6 million viewers (CBS = 12.5 million) and beat the combined Adult 18-49 ratings for CBS, NBC and Fox in the hour by 13% (CBS/NBC/Fox = 7.6/19).

"October Road" (10:01-11:00 p.m.)

Airing against original programming, ABC's "October Road" returned to the lineup with a time-period-winning performance in Adults 18-49 (4.1/12), beating CBS' "Shark" by 37% (3.0/9) and NBC's "ER" by 8% (3.8/11). In fact "October Road's" victory marked the first time ever that a regularly scheduled, ABC entertainment series beat an original episode of "ER" in the key young adult demo.

� "October Road" ranked as the No. 2 program of the night in Adults 18-34 (4.4/14), Women 18-34 (6.1/18) and Women 18-49 (6.0/15), behind only "Grey's Anatomy."

� "October Road" was up from its most recent telecast (4/5/07) by 1.8 million (9.5 million vs. 7.7 million) and by 37% in Adults 18-49 (4.1/12 vs. 3.0/9).

Friday

ABC's Friday lineup ranked No. 1 on the night among Adults 18-49 (1.9/7-tie) and Adults 18-34 (1.7/7).

"Wife Swap" (9:01-10:00 p.m.)

ABC's repeat "Wife Swap" led its time period among Adults 18-49 (2.1/7) and Adults 18-34 (2.2/8), winning the hour among Adults 18-49 for the second week in a row. "Wife Swap" ranked as the No. 1 TV show of the night among Adults 18-34 (2.2/8), Women 18-34 (2.8/10) and Women 18-49 (2.9/9).

"20/20" (10:00-11:00 p.m.)

With its report on "Planet Earth 2007: Seven Ways to Help Save the World," ABC News' "20/20" ranked No. 1 in the hour Adults 18-49 (2.1/7 � tied) and Adults 18-34 (1.8/7) for the second consecutive week.

Sunday

Although part of its lineup was in repeat ("Brothers & Sisters") against all-original programming on CBS and NBC during primetime, ABC ranked No. 1 on Sunday night in Total Viewers (10.6 million) and Adults 18-49 (3.8/11). In fact the Network won its fourth consecutive Sunday in Adults 18-49 (3.8/10), beating second-place Fox by 46% (2.6/7), third-place CBS by 65% (2.3/6) and fourth-place NBC 72% (2.2/6). ABC won 3 of 4 hours of the evening among young adults. Of note, NBC's lineup included the highly-promoted season finale of "The Apprentice 6" during the 10 o'clock hour.

� For the third week in a row, ABC's "Desperate Housewives" represented Sunday's No. 1 TV show in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49. ABC aired the Top 2 TV shows on Sunday in viewers and young adults, with "Desperate Housewives" and "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," respectively

"America's Funniest Home Videos" (7:00-8:00 p.m.)

"America's Funniest Home Videos" made ABC a definitive No. 1 during the 7 o'clock hour in Adults 18-49, beating its nearest competitor by 39% (2.5/9 vs. 1.8/6 � CBS' "60 Minutes"). In addition, ABC's wide appealing "Videos" delivered a demographic sweep of its time slot, also winning the hour with Adults 25-54 (2.9/10), Adults 18-34 (2.1/9), Teens 12-17 (1.6/7) and Kids 2-11 (2.2/11).

"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" (8:00-9:00 p.m.)

ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" dominated from 8:00-9:00 p.m., leading its closest competition by 3.0 million viewers (11.7 million vs. 8.7 million � CBS' "Amazing Race All-Stars") and by 32% in Adults 18-49 (4.1/11 vs. 3.1/9 � Fox's "The Simpsons"/"The Simpsons"). ABC's broad skewing "Home Edition" was the evening's No. 1 show with Kids 2-11 (3.1/12).

"Desperate Housewives" (9:00-10:02 p.m.)

Sunday's No. 1 TV show, ABC's "Desperate Housewives" overshadowed its time period competition in viewers and young adults. "Housewives" outdelivered its nearest competition in the 9 o'clock hour by 5.8 million viewers (15.9 million vs. 9.8 million � CBS' movie) and by 91% in Adults 18-49 (6.1/15 vs. 3.2/8 � Fox's "Family Guy"/"Family Guy").

"Brothers & Sisters" (10:02-11:00 p.m.)

ABC's repeat airing of "Brothers & Sisters" took second place against all-original competition during the 10 o'clock hour in Adults 18-34 (2.0/6), Women 18-49 (3.3/8-tie) and Women 18-34 (2.7/7).

� "Brothers & Sisters" turned in its second highest-ever repeat numbers among Total Viewers (6.4 million) and Adults 18-49 (2.4/6).
