NEW YORK, June 1 -- Heading into a sizzling summer, The
History Channel(R) has broken its own records and achieved stellar
viewership two days in a row! The special presentation STAR WARS: THE
LEGACY REVEALED premiered on Monday, May 28 and the brand-new series THE
UNIVERSE on Tuesday, May 29.
STAR WARS: THE LEGACY REVEALED is the network's #1 original telecast of
all time in Adults 25-54 and also its #1 telecast ever in Adults 18-49. The
special achieved a stellar 3.1 million total viewers. Additionally, the
network was #1 for the night (8-11pm) among Adults 25-54.

hugely successful premieres. They're part of our plan to create specials
and series that make history more active, entertaining and immediate. This

STAR WARS: THE LEGACY REVEALED:

-- #1 telecast of all time in A18-49: 1.7 million impressions
The next day, the network broke yet another record, garnering its best-
ever series premiere with THE UNIVERSE ("Secrets of the Sun"), which scored
in both Adults 25-54 and 18-49.
