BRAVO'S "TOP CHEF 3 MIAMI" WEEK TWO UP 55 PERCENT WITH TOTAL VIEWERS AND 42 PERCENT AMONG ADULTS 18-49
NEW YORK � June 21, 2007 � The second episode of Bravo's pop culture culinary and ratings hit "Top Chef 3 Miami" boasted a 55 percent increase in total viewers and a 42 percent increase in adults 18-49 over "Top Chef" season 2's comparable episode (10/25/06), according to Nielsen Media Research.
Last night's 10 p.m. broadcast � in which Joey and Howie came to a boil and Sandee was sent packing -- attracted 1,985,000 total viewers vs. season 2's 1,277,000 and 1,331,000 adults 18-49 vs. 936,000.
Through two episodes, "Top Chef 3 Miami" -- the No. 1 food show on cable -- has averaged 1,373,000 adults 18-49 and 2,007,000 total viewers � marking a 20 percent increase among adults 18-49 and 27 percent among total viewers over cycle two through the second episode.
In next week's episode of "Top Chef 3 Miami," the chefs get a taste of Miami's fresh local seafood. (Wed, June 27 at 10:00 PM ET/PT). Then, the chefs must impress special guest judge Alfred Portale (Chef at New York's Gotham Bar and Grill) and serve memorable meals to members of an Elks Club. They will quickly learn they must go-healthy or go home.
