LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- TNT's "The Closer" (7.2 million, #1) and "Heartland" (3.4 million, #11) overcame the summer doldrums to post gains from their previous week's numbers (6.4 million and 3.0 million, respectively) as the former once again reigned as cable's top draw for the week.
The network's coverage of the Daytona 500 on Saturday (6.2 million, #2) also landed in the top 15, as did a rebroadcast of the feature "Bourne Supremacy" on Sunday (4.4 million, #5).
Next up was USA as week two of "Burn Notice" (3.9 million, #7) didn't skip a beat from its premiere numbers while the channel's mainstay "WWE Raw" - 9:00 (4.9 million, #4) and 10:00 (5.0 million, #3) - as usual was in the hunt for the top spot.
Rounding out the leaderboard were VH1's "Charm School" reunion on Sunday (3.6 million, #9), a new "Army Wives" on Lifetime (3.5 million, #10), ABC Family's broadcast of "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" on Sunday (3.3 million, #T12) and a new "Ice Road Truckers" on the History Channel (3.1 million, #15).
Outside the top 15, HBO's originals "Entourage" (2.2 million), "Big Love" (1.6 million), "John From Cincinnati" (1.3 million) and "Flight of the Conchords" (817,000) all continued to struggle, as did ABC Family's "Kyle XY" (1.5 million).
