CBS Ratings for the Seventh Week of Summer -- CBS Has the Week's Top Four Scripted Programs

CBS RATINGS FOR THE SEVENTH WEEK OF SUMMER -- CBS Has the Week's Top Four Scripted Programs

"NCIS" is the Number One Scripted Program Followed By "CSI," "CSI: NY" and "Two and a Half Men"

"Big Brother 8" is Sunday's Top Program in Key Demos with Week-to-Week Gains

CBS had the week's top four scripted programs with NCIS, CSI, CSI: NY and TWO AND A HALF MEN, in the week ending July 15, week 43 of the 2006-2007 television year.

For the week in viewers, CBS (6.34m) trailed FOX (6.69m) which had the Major League Baseball All-Star Game, and was ahead of NBC (5.76m) and ABC (4.40m). Summer-to-date in viewers, CBS (7.02m) leads FOX (6.01m), NBC (5.66m) and ABC (4.81m).

For the week in households, CBS (4.4/08) was +2% ahead of FOX (4.3/08), +16% ahead of NBC (3.8/07) and +47% ahead of ABC (3.0/05). Summer-to-date in households, CBS (4.8/09) has a +26% advantage over both NBC and FOX (3.8/07, each) and +50% advantage over ABC (3.2/06).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was tied for second in adults 25-54 (2.2/07, with NBC) and averaged a 1.7/06 in adults 18-49.

TWO AND A HALF MEN (R) won its time period in households (5.8/10), viewers (8.55m), finished second in adults 25-54 (3.4/09, -0.1 behind FOX) and adults 18-49 (2.7/07). TWO AND A HALF MEN was the week's Number One comedy.

NCIS (R) (6.5/11, 9.68m) was tied for first in households (with NBC), second in viewers in its time period and was the week's top scripted program.

CSI: NY (R) was first in households (6.0/11), viewers (8.71m), second in adults 25-54 (2.9/08) and adults 18-49 (2.3/07). CSI: NY is the night's Number One program in households and viewers.

CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION (R) won its time slot in households (6.4/11), finished second in viewers (9.39m, -0.30m behind FOX), adults 25-54 (3.2/09) and adults 18-49 (2.3/07).

BIG BROTHER 8 SUNDAY was first in adults 25-54 (2.8/08), adults 18-49 (2.4/08), adults 18-34 (1.8/07) and second in households (4.1/08) and viewers (6.31m). Compared to last Sunday's premiere, BIG BROTHER 8 SUNDAY was up +8% in households (from 3.8/07), +12% in adults 25-54 (from 2.5/07), +14% in adults 18-49 (from 2.1/07), even in adults 18-34 and gained +460,000 viewers (from 5.85m, +8%). BIG BROTHER 8 was Sunday's top program in adults 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34.
