"Real Housewives" And "Project Runway" Premieres Boost November Year-Over-Year And Surpass Previous Cycles' Ratings
November Prime Time Viewership Jumps By 17% In Key A18-49 Demo
NEW YORK � November 27, 2007 � With blockbuster hits like "Top Chef," "Work Out," the Emmy-Award winning "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List," and the November premieres of "Real Housewives of Orange County" and multiple Emmy-nominee "Project Runway," Bravo is on pace to celebrate its second best consecutive year ever across all key demographics in 2007, according to Nielsen Media Research.
Season-to-date and versus 2006, Bravo's 8-11 p.m. primetime total audience increased by 8% (587,000 vs. 546,000) and 7% among the key adult 18-49 demographic (324,000 vs. 304,000). Additionally, Bravo's November primetime jumped by 17 percent in adults 18-49 (353,000 vs. 302,000) and 11 percent in total viewers (630,000 vs. 567,000).
Both "Real Housewives" and "Project Runway" continue to experience cycle-over-cycle gains with "Housewives" posting double-digit jumps in adults 18-49 (10 percent) and total viewers (three percent) through three episodes, while "Runway" season four returned with the network's biggest season premiere ever, for any series.
