Network Achieves Highest Rated Month And Week Ever In Primetime Among Total Viewers And Adults 18-49
Bravo Ranks Number 18 Cable Entertainment Network In Prime Among Adults in January For First Time Ever
NEW YORK � January 29, 2008 � Bravo ended January on it's highest note ever, recording its best month and week ever in primetime among total viewers and in the coveted adult 18-49 demo for the second consecutive month, according to Nielsen Media Research. January's record-breaking month averaged 801,000 total viewers and 490,000 adults 18-49, including its highest rated week ever (1/21/08-1/27/08) averaging 859,00 total viewers and 543,000 adults 18-49. Additionally, for the third consecutive week, Bravo was the number one cable network in the Tuesday-Thursday 10-11PM time period average among adults 18-49, and for the first time ever, Bravo broke the top-20 ranking in January, claiming No.18 among all ad-supported cable entertainment networks in primetime among adults18-49, up from number 22 in 2007.
With a series high for the finale of "The Real Housewives of Orange County," a strong premiere of Bravo's newest series "The Millionaire Matchmaker," and a series high for "Make Me A Supermodel," the last week of January (1/21/08-1/27/08) marked Bravo's highest rated week in network history.
A record-breaking 2,018,000 total viewers and 1,488,000 adults 18-49 watched Lauri Waring tie the knot with George Peterson on Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Orange County" third season finale (1/22/09). Nearly one million total viewers and 718,000 adults 18-49 cozied up to elite matchmaker Patti Stanger in the series premiere of "The Millionaire Matchmaker," marking a 51 and 63 percent increase over the previous four week time period average among total viewers and adults, respectively. Thursday's episode of "Make Me A Supermodel" earned over one million total viewers and 779,000 adults 18-49 (1/24/08). Versus the prior week's episode, it was up 30 percent among adults 18-49 (779,000 vs. 597,000),) and up 24 percent among total viewers (1,100,000 vs 884,000).
BravoTV.com also recorded its best month ever in January to date with 55 million page views, up 40 percent from the previous record in November 2007 (39.8 million page views), and an impressive 2.2 million uniques. (Source: Bravo internal weblogs (Omniture)).
