NEW YORK, March 13 -- Back for its fifth season, BET's
popular reality show COLLEGE HILL premiered on Tuesday, March 11 with a 1.2
coverage rating. Nearly 1.1 million households and 1.6 million viewers
tuned in to see eight students from four different universities (Clark
Atlanta University, Morehouse College, Georgia State University and the
University of West Georgia) descend upon Atlanta and explore their academic
and career goals, love lives, friendships, trials and tribulations.
Episode two of COLLEGE HILL 5: ATLANTA, which immediately followed the
premiere, posted a 1.33 coverage rating, with 1.2 million households and
1.8 viewers tuning in for the second installment of the new season.
The premiere of COLLEGE HILL 5: ATLANTA ranks as the #1 BET premiere
for the 2007-08 season. The first two episodes made season five the #1
COLLEGE HILL season premiere night in BET history.
