CBS WINS EVERY HALF HOUR IN VIEWERS ON THE FIRST NIGHT OF THE MAY SWEEP
"Survivor" Maintains Its Time Period Winning Streak Placing First in Viewers and Key Demographics Opposite the Return of "Ugly Betty" and NBC's Comedies
"CSI" Out-Delivers the First-Run Return of "Grey's Anatomy" in Viewers
"Without a Trace" Delivers a Larger Audience than the Highly Promoted Return of "Lost"
CBS won every half hour in viewers on the first night of the May sweep which included the highly promoted first-run returns of "Ugly Betty," "Grey's Anatomy" and "Lost" on ABC and first-run programming on NBC and FOX, according to preliminary Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Thursday, April 24.
SURVIVOR: MICRONESIA was first in households (7.9/13), viewers (12.98m), adults 25-54 (5.3/14) and adults 18-49 (4.2/13). Compared to last week, SURVIVOR was up +8% in both households (from 7.3/13) and adults 18-49 (from 3.9/12), +6% in adults 25-54 (from 5.0/14) and added +970,000 viewers (from 12.01m, +8%).
CSI was first in viewers (16.74m), second in households (10.5/16, -0.2 behind ABC), adults 25-54 (6.1/14) and adults 18-49 (4.6/11).
WITHOUT A TRACE was first in households (9.2/15), viewers (13.50m), second in adults 25-54 (4.4/09) and adults 18-49 (3.3/09).
For the night, CBS was first in households (9.2/15), viewers (14.41m), tied for first in adults 25-54 (5.3/13, with ABC) and second in adults 18-49 (4.0/13).
