BRAVO'S "FLIPPING OUT" HITS SERIES HIGH WITH SEASON FINALE AND POSTS EXPLOSIVE DOUBLE-DIGIT GROWTH IN ALL KEY DEMOS
Season Premiere Of "Million Dollar Listing" Delivers Series High Up 69% In Adults 18-49 Versus Prior Season
NEW YORK � August 6, 2008 � Bravo delivered a high dose of real estate drama and record ratings success last night with the season finale of the hit series, "Flipping Out" and the second season premiere of the real estate drama "Million Dollar Listing," posting double digit growth for both series.
For the fifth consecutive week, "Flipping Out" has reached over one million total viewers and last night's episode set a series high among adults 18-49 (881,000 viewers) and in total viewers (1.276 million). Versus the season one finale (9/4/07), "Flipping Out" was up 78 percent among adults 18-49 (vs. 494,000) and up 65 percent among total viewers (vs. 774,000). The full season averaged 664,000 adults 18-49 and 949,000 total viewers.
This season, Jeff Lewis has spied on his staff, gone through two house assistants, and seen his two employees' marriage fall apart � and it's not over yet. Bravo will air a "Flipping Out Reunion Special" next Tuesday, August 12 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Lewis and his crew will reminisce about the breakups and flip outs that made this season the most successful yet. Lewis will also surprise his devoted caretaker Zoila by auctioning off her notorious birthday painting on www.bravoshop.com with sales going directly to her. The painting will be available for auction online from August 12 to August 19.
Continuing the real-estate ratings success, the season two premiere of Bravo's "Million Dollar Listing" scored a series high across all key demos with 510,000 adults 18-49 and 753,000 total viewers tuning in to see Los Angeles' hottest brokers. Versus the premiere of season one, the series was up 69 percent among adults 18-49 and 66 percent in total viewers. "Million Dollar Listing" was also up 49 percent among adults 18-49 (vs. 343,000) and up 57 percent among total viewers (vs. 479,000), versus the prior four week time period average.
