BRAVO DESIGNERS DOMINATE ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT
New Episodes of "Top Design" and "Project Runway" Score Series High Ratings
NEW YORK � September 11, 2008 � New episodes of "Top Design" and "Project Runway" hit series and season highs this week, ranking Bravo as the number one cable network from 9 to 11 p.m. among adults 18-49, according to Nielsen Media Research. Bravo's "Top Design" posted triple digit increases and set series highs last night with 1.789 million total viewers. The creative competition series, which airs on Wednesday nights at 10 p.m., delivered 1.73 million adults 18-49, up 149 percent in the demo and 105 percent in total viewers versus the previous season. The second season of "Top Design" was recently revamped with a brand new look in high-definition, new producers, the Emmy-nominated Magical Elves ("Project Runway," "Top Chef"), and a new host, celebrated fashion model and design aficionado, India Hicks.
Currently enjoying its highest rated season-to-date, "Project Runway" also broke records on Wednesday hitting season highs across all key demographics. Versus the prior season's equivalent episode, the series delivered 2.625 million adults 18-49 and 3.864 million total viewers, up 19 percent (vs. 2,203,000) and 22 percent (vs. 3,165,000) respectively. Compared to the prior week's average, Wednesday's episode rose 16 percent among adults 18-49 (vs. 2,258,000) and 18 percent among total viewers (vs. 3,264,000).
