September 25, 2008 (Burbank, CA) - On a night of premiere week debuts by the major broadcasters, TOP MODEL remained fierce, beating all competition in the network's target demographic of women 18-34. In addition, The CW won the night in women 18-34 (2.8.8).
Despite running head-to-head with "Dancing with the Stars," TOP MODEL won the 8:00 hour in women 18-34 (3.7/11) and dropped just a tenth of a point (-3%) from last week's cycle high. The show was second in adults 18-34 (2.5/8), matching last week's cycle-high delivery. TOP MODEL beat the premiere of "Knight Rider" in young adults and women. TOP MODEL was second in women 12-34 (3.2/10), and third in women 18-49 (3.0/8). Overall, the show matched last week's cycle-high ratings in adults 18-34 and adults 18-49, and was the second strongest telecast of the cycle in women 18-34 and 18-49.
At 9:00, the 90210 encore took advantage of the Presidential address to post a 1.9/5 in women 18-34, and a 1.4/4 in adults 18-34 matching its previous high.
