CBS Dominates Wednesday, More Than Doubling its Nearest Competitor in Viewers and Ahead By +52% in Adults 18-49
CBS dominated Wednesday in viewers and key demographics as both THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE and GARY UNMARRIED delivered their largest audiences of the season, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Dec. 10.

THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE was first in households (5.6/09), viewers (8.25m), adults 25-54 (3.1/08) and second in adults 18-49 (2.2/07). THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE posted season highs in households and viewers, matched the season high in adults 25-54.
GARY UNMARRIED was first in households (5.2/08), viewers (8.03m), second in adults 25-54 (3.1/08, -0.1 behind FOX) and adults 18-49 (2.4/07). GARY UNMARRIED posted Wednesday highs this season in households and viewers.
CRIMINAL MINDS was first in households (9.4/15), viewers (14.71m), adults 25-54 (5.1/12) and adults 18-49 (3.9/10). Compared to the last first-run episode (on 11/26/08), CRIMINAL MINDS was up +9% in households (from 8.6/15), +11% in adults 25-54 (from 4.6/12), +15% in adults 18-49 (from 3.4/10) and added +600,000 viewers (from 14.11m, +4%).
CSI: NY was first in households (8.7/15), viewers (13.25m), adults 25-54 (4.7/12) and adults 18-49 (3.5/10). Compared to the last first-run episode (on 11/26/08), CSI: NY was up +16% in households (from 7.5/13), +9% in adults 25-54 (from 4.3/11), +13% in adults 18-49 (from 3.1/09) and added +950,000 viewers (from 12.30m, +8%).
For the night, CBS was first in households (7.8/13), viewers (12.03m), adults 25-54 (4.3/11) and adults 18-49 (3.2/09). CBS dominated the night, doubling the closest network in households (vs. 3.9/06 from both NBC and ABC), +79% ahead in adults 25-54 (vs. 2.4/06, FOX), +52% ahead in adults 18-49 (vs. 2.1/06, FOX) and more the doubling the second place network's viewer delivery (vs. 5.98m, +101%). CBS won the last four Wednesdays in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.
