CBS WINS WEDNESDAY IN KEY DEMOS FOR THE FIFTH CONSECUTIVE WEEK
"Gary Unmarried," "Criminal Minds" and "CSI: NY" All Sweep Their Time Periods in Viewers and Key Demographics
CBS continued its Wednesday winning streak, placing first in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for the fifth consecutive week as GARY UNMARRIED, CRIMINAL MINDS and CSI: NY won their respective time periods in all key measures, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Dec. 17.
Note: CBS had preemptions/delays due to local programming: 2.0% from 8:00-8:30PM, 1.1% from 8:30-9:00 PM.
THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE was first in households (5.0/09), tied for first in adults 25-54 (2.8/08, with NBC), second in viewers (7.47m), and averaged a 2.0/06 in adults 18-49.
GARY UNMARRIED was first in households (5.0/08), viewers (7.55m), tied for first in adults 25-54 (2.9/07, with FOX) and adults 18-49 (2.3/07, with both NBC and FOX).
CRIMINAL MINDS was first in households (9.5/15), viewers (15.01m), adults 25-54 (5.4/13) and adults 18-49 (3.9/11). Compared to last week, CRIMINAL MINDS was up +2% in households (from 9.3/15), +6% in adults 25-54 (from 5.1/12), even in adults 18-49 and added +330,000 viewers (from 14.68m, +2%).
CSI: NY was first in households (8.6/15), viewers (13.26m), adults 25-54 (4.7/12) and adults 18-49 (3.6/10).
For the night, CBS was first in households (7.7/13), viewers (11.92m), adults 25-54 (4.3/11) and adults 18-49 (3.2/09). CBS won the last five Wednesdays in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.
