NEW YORK, Dec. 18 -- Lifetime Television's annual "Fa La La La Lifetime" holiday movie marathon is heading toward record audience levels, boasting the highest-rated holiday movies on basic cable among W18+ -- and reaching more than 82 million total viewers with a week to go!
Led by the Lifetime Original Movie "Flirting with Forty," which averaged four million viewers during its December 8 premiere, the 2008 "Fa La La La Lifetime" success story includes:
Versus the first three weeks of last year's stunt, households are up seven percent, W18-34 (+20%), W18-49 (+13%), W25-54 (+10%), A18-34 (+33%), A25-54 (+17%) and W18+ (+8%).
Three of the five highest-rated holiday movies on basic cable in 4Q among W25-54 ("Flirting with Forty," "Home By Christmas" and "The Christmas Shoes").
The prime and weekend movies improved 4Q ratings across households (+55%), W18-49 (+43%), W25-54 (+50%), A18-49 (+20%), A25-54 (+60%), P2+ (+60%) and W18+ (+67%).
Through December 25, Lifetime airs holiday-themed movies every night at 9PM (ET/PT), hosted by "Army Wives'" Sally Pressman and Drew Fuller, "Rita Rocks'" Nicole Sullivan, "How to Look Good Naked" host Carson Kressley and "Reba" costar Melissa Peterman, who provide fun tips on holiday decorating, gift-giving and party hosting.
