GHOST HUNTERS INTERNATIONAL SCORES WITH NEW EPISODES!
SCI FI #1 Entertainment Cable Network in Wednesday 9 PM Hour
New York, NY � January 8, 2009 � Last night, Ghost Hunters International kicked off its winter season on SCI FI with a bang, delivering a 1.9 Household rating, 1.6 million Adults 18-49, 1.7 million Adults 25-54 and 2.7 million total viewers. The episode, which aired from 9-10pm ET/PT and featured a chilling investigation through the depths of a haunted fortress in Peru, was also the second-highest performance for the series (trailing only the series premiere on 1/9/08). In addition:
� SCI FI was the #1 cable network in the 9pm hour for both Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54.
� Compared to the summer 2008 premiere of the series' last set of new episodes (7/9/08) Ghost Hunters International is up +19% in Household ratings, +25% in Adults 18-49, +20% in Adults 25-54 and +19% in total viewers.
� Ghost Hunters International outperformed the 8pm series premiere of the horror-themed reality series 13 - Fear is Real on The CW by +12% in Adults 18-49, +36% in Adults 25-54 and +12% in total viewers.
A spin-off of SCI FI's popular Ghost Hunters series, Ghost Hunters International features a squad of real-life "ghost-busters" - ordinary people who investigate and attempt to debunk claims of otherworldly activity. The team travels to different European cities each week in pursuit of the truth behind bizarre supernatural claims. Its success so far has cemented Ghost Hunters' place as the #1 paranormal franchise in cable! Joining regular cast members Robb Demarest and Barry Fitzgerald this winter are Ghost Hunters investigators Dustin Pari and Joe Chin as well as new team members Brandy Green and Angela Alderman.
Season 5 of the original Ghost Hunters, featuring lead investigators Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson, will premiere in March 2009.
