CBS dominated the Top 10 (with 7 programs) and was the only network to post increases over the same week last year (+35% in viewers, +14% in adults 18-49 and +21% in adults 25-54), according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending March 1, week 23 of the 2008-2009 television season.

CBS continues to be the only network to improve upon last year's ratings in all key measures--+9% in viewers, +7% in adults 18-49, +5% in adults 25-54 and +5% in adults 18-34.

In the week, NCIS was the top scripted program, THE AMAZING RACE 14 hit season highs in all key measures, JESSE STONE: THIN ICE, starring Tom Selleck, was Sunday's top program and ranked No. 5 for the week, while CBS again dominated Friday with GHOST WHISPERER, FLASHPOINT and NUMB3RS.

For the week in viewers: CBS (11.04m), FOX (11.16m), ABC (7.36m) and NBC (6.19m). Season-to-date, CBS is first in viewers (11.78m), ahead of FOX (9.32m), ABC (8.95m) and NBC (8.37m).

For the week in households: CBS (6.9/11), FOX (6.5/10), ABC (4.7/08) and NBC (3.9/06). In households, season-to-date, CBS is first (7.3/12), ahead of ABC (5.7/09), FOX (5.5/09) and NBC (5.1/08).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was second in adults 25-54 (3.5/09) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (2.5/07, with ABC). Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (4.1/10) and second in adults 18-49 (3.2/08, -0.2 behind FOX). Compared to the same week last year, CBS was up +30% in households, +35% in viewers, +21% in adults 25-54 and +14% in adults 18-49.

? NCIS was first in households (11.1/17), viewers (18.27m), adults 25-54 (5.3/13) and adults 18-49 (3.9/11).

? CRIMINAL MINDS was second in households (8.9/13) and viewers (13.93m) against the "American Idol" two hour broadcast on FOX.

? CSI: NY was first in households (8.1/14), viewers (12.56m), adults 25-54 (4.2/10) and adults 18-49 (3.1/08).

? SURVIVOR: TOCANTINS was second in households (6.9/11), viewers (12.05m), adults 25-54 (5.0/12) and adults 18-49 (3.9/11) behind FOX's special "American Idol" results special.

? CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in households (11.1/17), viewers (17.72m), adults 25-54 (6.0/14) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (4.3/11, with FOX). Compared to last week, CSI was up +7% in households (from 10.4/16), +2% in adults 25-54 (from 5.9/13) and added +800,000 viewers (from 16.92m, +5%).

? ELEVENTH HOUR was first in households (7.6/13), viewers (11.70m), second in adults 25-54 (3.9/10, -0.1 behind NBC) and adults 18-49 (2.8/08). Compared to last week, ELEVENTH HOUR was up +4% in households (from 7.3/12), +8% in both adults 25-54 (from 3.6/09) and adults 18-49 (from 2.6/07) and added +530,000 viewers (from 11.17m, +5%).

? GHOST WHISPERER won its time period in households (7.2/13), viewers (11.54m), adults 25-54 (3.8/11) and adults 18-49 (2.7/09). Compared to the last first run episode (on 2/13/09), GHOST WHISPERER was up +9% in households (from 6.6/12), +15% in adults 25-54 (from 3.3/10), +13% in adults 18-49 (from 2.4/08) and added +1.23m viewers (from 10.31m, +12%). This is GHOST WHISPERER's best delivery in households and viewers since Nov. 14, 2008.

? FLASHPOINT was first in households (5.8/10), viewers (8.99m), adults 25-54 (2.6/07) and adults 18-49 (1.9/06). Compared to the last first run episode (on 2/13/09), FLASHPOINT was up +4% in households (from 5.6/10), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 1.8/06), even in adults 25-54 and added +370,000 viewers (from 8.80m, +2%).

? NUMB3RS was first in households (6.1/11), viewers (9.62m), adults 25-54 (2.9/08) and adults 18-49 (2.1/06). Compared to the last first run episode (on 2/13/09), NUMB3RS was up +5% in households (from 5.8/10), +4% in adults 25-54 (from 2.8/08), even in adults 18-49 and added +510,000 viewers (from 9.11m, +6%).

? 60 MINUTES was first in households (9.1/15), viewers (14.23m), second in adults 25-54 (3.4/08). Compared to last week, 60 MINUTES was up +57% in households (from 5.8/09), +48% in adults 25-54 (from 2.3/06), +38% in adults 18-49 (2.2/06 from 1.6/05) and added +5.05m viewers (from 9.18m, +55%).

? THE AMAZING RACE 14 was second in households (6.2/10) and viewers (10.60m). Compared to last week, THE AMAZING RACE 14 was up +41% in households (from 4.4/07), +18% in adults 25-54 (3.9/09 from 3.3/07), +15% in adults 18-49 (3.0/08 from 2.6/06), +17% in adults 18-34 (2.1/05 from 1.8/05) and added +2.79m viewers (from 7.81m, +36%). This is THE AMAZING RACE 14's best delivery in all these measures.

? CBS SUNDAY MOVIE SPECIAL "Jesse Stone: Thin Ice" (S) (9:00-11:00PM) was first in households (9.3/14) and viewers (15.24m). Compared to the last "Jesse Stone" movie (on Tuesday, May 22, 2007), CBS was up +12% in households (from 8.3/13) while adding +2.20m viewers (from 13.04m, +17%).
