HALLMARK CHANNEL'S "BOUND BY A SECRET" RANKS AS #1 CABLE MOVIE OF THE DAY AND #2 OF THE WEEK
Hallmark Channel's premiere of the network�s original movie, "Bound By a Secret," ranked as the highest-rated cable movie of the day on Saturday, March 7, and second-highest-rated cable movie of the week, with a 2.0 household rating, over 1.7 million homes, over 2.2 million total viewers and 3.1 million unduplicated viewers.
"Bound By a Secret" outperformed big ticket theatrical films such as "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer�s Stone" (Disney), "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" (ABC Family), "The Bourne Identity" (USA Network), "Pirates of the Caribbean" (USA Network) and "Jurassic Park III" (Cartoon Network).
The movie ranked #1 in the time period (9-11 p.m., ET/PT) among HH rating and in the top 10 among key demos:
#4 among W25-54 (0.9)
#8 among A25-54 (0.6)
#9 among W18-49 (0.6)
The movie also ranked #2 in the time period among HH delivery and #4 among W25-54 (420,000).
The original movie boosted the network to rank #2 in Prime Time for the night and contributed to Hallmark Channel's ranking #9 for the week with a 1.1 HH rating, 967,000 homes and 1.26 million total viewers.
