"The Real Housewives of New Jersey Preview Special" Marks Network's
Highest Rated Preview Ever With Over One Million Viewers In All Demographics
NEW YORK - April 8, 2009 - Bravo's bridge and tunnel bonanza has begun. Last night's episodes of "The Real Housewives of New York" and "The Real Housewives of New Jersey Preview Special" scored record high ratings for the network. The Garden State preview special was Bravo's highest rated preview show ever, delivering 1.07 million adults 18-49 and 1.43 million total viewers. "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" will premiere on Tuesday, May 12 at 11 p.m. ET/PT, and will then move to its regularly scheduled time slot of Tuesdays at 10 p.m. the following week.
Last night, "The Real Housewives of New York" delivered 1.74 million total viewers and 1.33 million adults 18-49, posting its second highest rated episode ever in all demographics. Through eight episodes, the second season is averaging 1.13 million adults 18-49 and 1.57 million total viewers, up 48 percent and 52 percent respectively versus the season one average.
