CBS placed first on Thursday in viewers and adults 25-54 as SURVIVOR: SAMOA delivered its largest audience, CSI placed first in viewers and THE MENTALIST placed first in viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Oct. 8.
SURVIVOR: SAMOA was first in households (7.1/11), viewers (11.73m), adults 25-54 (4.4/12) and adults 18-49 (3.4/10) for the second consecutive week. This is SURVIVOR: SAMOA's largest audience this season.
CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in households (9.1/14), viewers (14.63m), second in adults 25-54 (4.7/11) and averaged a 3.4/09 in adults 18-49.
THE MENTALIST was first in households (9.1/16), viewers (14.17m), adults 25-54 (4.4/11) and second in adults 18-49 (3.2/09).
For the night, CBS was first in households (8.4/14), viewers (13.51m), adults 25-54 (4.5/11) and second in adults 18-49 (3.3/09).
