BAM! BRAVO'S "REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA" SEASON TWO MARKS AN 116% INCREASE AMONG TOTAL VIEWERS VERSUS SEASON ONE
Earns Top Spot As Highest Rated Series In The "Real Housewives" Franchise
NEW YORK - October 23, 2009 - Who gonna check me boo? Earning the top spot as the highest rated series in the "Real Housewives" franchise, Bravo's ratings juggernaut "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" ended its second season on a high note, scoring 2,047,000 adults 18-49 and 2,977,000 total viewers, up 22 percent (vs. 1,680,000), and 35 percent (vs. 2,212,000) respectively versus the season one finale, according to Nielsen Media Research. Additionally, during the 10PM hour, Bravo ranked number one among all cable networks in the coveted adult 18-49 demo and among women 18-49.
The explosive and oh-so-dramatic season two averaged 1,992,000 adults 18-49 and 2,836,000 total viewers, marking triple digit increases in all key demos versus season one, up 101 percent among adults 18-49 (1,992,000 vs. 990,000), and 116 percent among total viewers (2,836,000 vs. 1,312,000).
This week's episode of "Million Dollar Listing" earned 672,000 adults 18-49 and broke the one million mark with 1,026,000 total viewers, up 68 percent (vs. 401,000) and 72 percent (vs. 595,000) versus episode two of the prior season. Over the course of two weeks, the series has seen double digit increases across the board, up 35 percent among adults 18-49 and 37 percent among total viewers to-date versus season one. Additionally, season three of "Flipping Out" averaged 773,000 adults and 1,046,000 total viewers, up 16 percent (vs. 664,000) and 10 percent (1,046,000 vs. 949,000) respectively versus the season one average.
