CBS Adds the Most Viewers (+1.12 Million) and Gains the Most in Adults 18-49 (+0.4 Rating Points) and in Adults 25-54 (+0.5 Ratings Point)

Fourth Week Live Plus 7-Day DVR Playback Sees 14 CBS Series Gaining More Than One Million Viewers and 13 Series Gaining a Half a Rating Point or More in Adults 18-49

"The Mentalist" Is the Network's Top Playback Performer with a Viewer Increase of Nearly +2.8 Million Viewers and a Gain of +1.0 Rating Points Among Adults 18-49

Season-to-Date, CBS Is Averaging a 7-Day Lift of +1.18 Million Viewers, More Than Any Other Network with Three of the Top 5 Most Played Back Programs

America's most watched network got the most live plus 7-day DVR playback lift for the fourth consecutive week, according to Nielsen live plus 7-day ratings for the week ending Oct. 18.

CBS added +1.12 million viewers for the week, more than any other network, +0.4 rating points in adults 18-49, tied for most among all networks and +0.5 rating points in adults 25-54, also most of any network.

For the fourth consecutive week, THE MENTALIST had the second largest lift among all primetime programs, gaining +2.78 million additional viewers. THE MENTALIST also had the Network's largest adult 18-49 gain with an increase of +1.0 ratings points. CSI gained +2.10 million additional viewers, followed by CRIMINAL MINDS with +1.99 million and THE BIG BANG THEORY with +1.93 million.

Among adults 18-49, following THE MENTALIST were THE BIG BANG THEORY with a gain of +0.9 rating points and CSI and CRIMINAL MINDS, both with a +0.8 ratings point gain.

With live plus 7-day viewing factored in, CBS's fourth week live plus same day ratings increased by +1.12 million viewers (13.01m from 11.89m), +0.4 in adults 18-49 (3.6 from 3.2) and +0.5 in adults 25-54 (4.6 from 4.1).

Season-to-date, CBS is averaging a 7-day lift of +1.18 million viewers, more than any other network with three of the top five most played back programs: # 2 THE MENTALIST (+2.88m), #4 CSI (+2.22m) and #5 NCIS (+2.02m).
