UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - December 17, 2009 - NBC's "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien" has won the week of December 7-11 in the key late-night demographic of adults 18-49 over CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" and the ABC lineup of "Nightline" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live." Conan has finished #1 or tied for #1 among broadcast networks in adult 18-49 rating for six of the last seven weeks.
In adults 18-34, Conan dominated Letterman and the ABC team of "Nightline" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live" for the week, posting a 1.0 rating in 18-34 versus "Late Show's" 0.7, "Nightline's" 0.6 and "Kimmel's" 0.4.
At 12:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" tied CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" in 18-49 rating and delivered bigger audiences than Ferguson and ABC's Kimmel in adults 18-49 as well as adults, men and women 18-34, men 18-49 and men 25-54.
"Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" delivered its biggest adult 18-49 audience (838,000 viewers) in eight weeks (since the week of October 12-16) and attracted its largest overall audience (1.5 million) so far this season. At 1:35 a.m. ET, "Last Call with Carson Daly" generated season highs in adult 18-49 viewers (524,000) and total viewers (939,000).
The median age of Conan's audience last week was 47.6, nine years younger than Letterman's 56.8 and "Nightline's" 57.1. At 12:35 a.m. ET last week, the median age of Jimmy Fallon's audience (46.1) was five years younger than Kimmel's (51.8) and six years younger than Ferguson's (52.6).
For the week of December 7-11, Conan's average 1.397 million adults 18-49 outscored Letterman's 1.358; in total viewers, Conan's audience of 2.647 million persons finished behind Letterman's 4.398 million; and in adults 18-34, Conan's 667,000 topped Letterman's 453,000. At 12:35 a.m. ET, Jimmy Fallon's 838,000 adults 18-49 for the week topped Ferguson's 778,000; in total viewers, Jimmy's 1.501 million finished behind Ferguson's 1.945 million; and in adults 18-34, Jimmy's 414,000 out-delivered Ferguson's 293,000.

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - December 17, 2009 - The December 12 telecast of "Saturday Night Live" has scored season highs for the show in adults 18-49 and total viewers, with the overall viewership representing an 11-month high, according to "live plus same day" viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.
The December 12 telecast of "Saturday Night Live," hosted by Taylor Lautner and featuring musical guest Bon Jovi, averaged a 3.1 rating, 11 share in adults 18-49 and 7.3 million viewers overall. The 7.3 million viewers is the show's biggest overall audience since the January 10 telecast (hosted by Neil Patrick Harris and featuring musical guest Taylor Swift) averaged 8.9 million.
"Saturday Night Live" was the #1 telecast of the night in 18-49 and total viewers, topping all primetime programs on all the major networks. In fact, these are the highest 18-49 and total-viewer results for any Saturday night non-sports telecast on any major network this season, ahead of all Saturday primetime entertainment programming on all the major networks.
In adult 18-49, the December 12 edition of "Saturday Night Live" outscored every Saturday non-sports primetime telecast on every major network in nearly four years (since January 14, 2006).
