"LATE SHOW" NOTCHES BEST DELIVERIES IN VIEWERS, ADULTS 18-49 AND ADULTS 18-34 SINCE PREMIERE WEEK
Best Adult 25-54 Rating in More Than Two Years
"The Late Late Show" Also Attracts Largest Audience Since Premiere Week
CBS's LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN scored its best deliveries in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 since premiere week and best adult 25-54 rating in more than two years, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Feb. 12.
LATE SHOW posted a 3.5/09 in households with an average of 4.98m viewers, up +25% in households (from 2.8/07) and +27% in viewers (from 3.92m) compared to the same week last year. LATE SHOW was up +21% in adults 25-54 (1.7/06 from 1.4/06), +9% in adults 18-49 (1.2/05 from 1.1/05) and +14% in adults 18-34 (0.8/03 from 0.7/03) compared to the same week last year.
LATE SHOW posted its best households, viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 since the week since the week ending Sept. 25, 2009 (premiere week), and its best adults 25-54 since the week ending Jan. 4, 2008 (LATE SHOW's first week back during the WGA Strike).
THE LATE LATE SHOW with CRAIG FERGUSON posted a 1.6/05 in households with 2.11m viewers, up +7% in both households (from 1.5/05) and viewers (from 1.96m) compared to the same week last year. LATE LATE SHOW was up +25% in adults 18-34 (0.5/03 from 0.4/03), and was even in both adults 25-54 (0.8/05) and adults 18-49 (0.6/04) compared to the same week last year. LATE LATE SHOW posted its best households rating since the week ending Dec. 19, 2008, and best viewer total since the week ending Sept. 25, 2009 (premiere week).
THE LATE LATE SHOW beat "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" by +45% in households (vs. 1.1/04), +33% in viewers (vs. 1.59m), +14% in adults 25-54 (vs. 0.7/04) and tied in adults 18-34.
