'MINUTE TO WIN IT' MATCHES ITS HIGHEST RATING SINCE THE SHOW'S MARCH 14 DEBUT

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - May 4, 2010 - Paced by "The Office," "Law & Order: SVU," "The Biggest Loser," "30 Rock" and "Celebrity Apprentice," NBC averaged a 1.9 rating, 6 share in adults 18-49 and 5.7 million viewers overall for the week of April 26-May 2, according to in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.

NBC's primetime performance this week was led by "The Office," which ranked #10 (tied) among all primetime programs in adults 18-49. Also ranking among the top 30 programs of the week in adults 18-49 were "Law & Order: SVU" (#19, tie), "The Biggest Loser: Couples" (#21, tie), "30 Rock" (#24, tie) and "Celebrity Apprentice" (#26, tie). Among adults 18-34, "The Office" ranked #5 among all primetime programs and its Thursday night companion, "30 Rock," ranked #9 (tied) in that valuable demo.

Primetime averages for the week of April 26-May 2 in adults 18-49 were Fox (3.0/9), ABC and CBS (2.2/76), NBC (1.9/6) and CW (0.9/3). In overall total viewers the weekly averages were CBS (9.5 million), Fox (8.3 million), ABC (7.7 million), NBC (5.7 million) and CW (1.9 million).

Season to date through 32 weeks, NBC is tied for #3 among the major networks in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 and tied for #2 in adults 18-34.

NBC highlights for the week of April 26-May 2:

* "Celebrity Apprentice" grew from its first half-hour to its fourth by 16 percent in adults 18-49 to rank #1 among the major networks in the final hour of primetime Sunday in adults 18-49 and other key demographics.

* Also on Sunday, "Minute To Win It" grew from half-hour to half-hour by 18 percent in adults 18-49 and 10 percent total viewers. The eight regular-slot telecasts of "Minute To Win It" have all grown substantially from half-hour to half-hour, increasing an average 31 percent in adults 18-49 and 22 percent in total viewers.

* Sunday's "Minute To Win It" matched the show's highest 18-49 rating since its March 14 premiere.

* On Friday, "Dateline NBC" reported the top rating of the night in adults 18-49 and ranked #1 in its two-hour time period in adults, men and women 18-49, adults, men and women 25-54 and total viewers.

* This season versus last, the Friday edition of "Dateline" is up by 13 percent in adults 18-49, 15 percent in adults 25-54 and 29 percent in total viewers

* NBC ranked #1 among the major networks Friday night in adults 18-49, marking the seventh time in nine weeks that NBC has finished #1 or tied for #1 on Friday night, excluding sports, in adults 18-49.

* On Thursday, "The Office" tied for the time-period lead in adults 18-49 with ABC's "Grey's Anatomy," ahead of CBS's "CSI" and Fox's "Fringe." "The Office" won the slot outright in adults 18-34 and all key adult-male demos - men 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54. Week-to-week, "The Office" increased by 13 percent in adults 18-49 and 11 percent in total viewers.

* Also on Thursday, "Community" enrolled a week-to-week increase of 19 percent in both adults 18-49 and total viewers, while "30 Rock" reported an 8 percent gain in 18-49 and 5 percent growth in total viewers versus the prior week.

* On Wednesday, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" won its time period in all key ratings categories - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, as well as total viewers -- marking the eighth consecutive time a "Law & Order: SVU" original has ranked #1 or tied for #1 among regular programs in this time period in adults 18-49.

* "SVU" locked up its top results in 18-49 and total viewers since March 31 and was up 38 percent in 18-49 and 35 percent in total viewers versus NBC's average in its Wednesday time period during the traditional 2008-09 season.

* On Tuesday, "Parenthood" ranked #1 in adults 18-49 and other key demos in the 10-11 p.m. hour, topping the original drama competition of CBS's "The Good Wife" and ABC's V." "Parenthood" has now ranked #1 in its slot in adults 18-49 versus regular competition for five of the last six weeks.

* With a median age of 44.5 years, "Parenthood" was the "youngest" drama to air on the major broadcast networks this week.

* Also on Tuesday, "The Biggest Loser: Couples" gained 52 percent in adults 18-49 and 46 percent or more than 2.8 million persons in total viewers from its first half-hour to its fourth, despite competition that included Fox's "American Idol" and "Glee" and ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" results show and CBS's "NCIS."

* On Monday, "Chuck" matched its best 18-49 rating since March 8, while a rebroadcast of "Law & Order" locked up that series' highest 18-49 rating of the season for an encore telecast.

Ratings reflect "live plus same day" data unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."

On Monday, April 26 from 8-9 p.m., ET, "Chuck" averaged a 2.1 rating, 6 share in adults 18-49 and 5.8 million viewers overall, matching its top 18-49 rating since March 8. "Chuck" ranked #2 among the major networks in men 18-34 and men 18-49 (tie) in a time period that included competition from ABC's "Dancing With the Stars," Fox's "House," and CBS's encore "How I Met Your Mother" and first-run "Rules of Engagement." It's worth noting that so far this season, "Chuck" has added an average 22 percent to its 18-49 rating and more than 1.1 million total viewers when going from its "live plus same day" to its "live plus seven day" results.

At 9 p.m., "Trauma" (1.5/4 in 18-49, 5.0 million viewers overall) matched its highest 18-49 rating since November 30.

Monday from 10-11 p.m., ET a rebroadcast of "Law & Order" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 4.7 million viewers overall) locked up that series' highest 18-49 rating this season for an encore telecast. Versus the prior Monday's rebroadcast, "Law & Order" was up 25 percent in 18-49 rating (1.5 vs. 1.2) and 10 percent in total viewers (4.7 million vs. 4.3 million).

On Tuesday, April 27 from 8-10 p.m. ET, "The Biggest Loser: Couples" (2.8/8 in adults 18-49, 7.5 million viewers overall) gained, from its first half-hour to its fourth, 52 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 3.5/9 from a 2.3/7) and 46 percent or more than 2.8 million persons in total viewers (to 9.1 million from 6.2 million). "The Biggest Loser" ranked #2 among women 18-34 and women 18-49 in a time period that includes competition from Fox's "American Idol" and "Glee," ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" results show and "Lost" encore and CBS's "NCIS" and "NCIS: Los Angeles."

Tuesday from 10-11 p.m. ET, "Parenthood" (2.4/7 in 18-49, 5.8 million viewers overall) ranked #1 among the major networks in adults 18-49, topping the original drama competition of CBS's "The Good Wife" and ABC's V." "Parenthood" also ranked #1 in adults, men and women 18-34 and women 18-49.

"Parenthood" has ranked #1 in its slot in adults 18-49 versus regular competition for five of the last six weeks. It's also worth noting that "Parenthood" has added an average 31 percent to its 18-49 rating and more than 1.7 million total viewers when going from its "live plus same day" to its "live plus seven day" results.

With a median age of 44.5 years, "Parenthood" was the "youngest" drama to air on the major broadcast networks this week.

On Wednesday, April 28 from 8-9 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Minute To Win It" (1.6/5 in adults 18-49, 5.2 million viewers overall) tied for #2 among the major networks in adults 18-49. From its first half-hour to its second, "Minute" grew by 21 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.7 from a 1.4) and by 16 percent in total viewers (5.6 million vs. 4.8 million).

Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET, "Mercy" averaged a 1.4/4 in 18-49 and 4.9 million viewers overall.

Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (2.9/8 in 18-49, 9.5 million viewers overall) won its time period in all key ratings categories - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, as well as total viewers - versus ABC's premiere of "Happy Town" and CBS's "CSI: NY" encore. This marks the eighth consecutive time a "Law & Order: SVU" original has ranked #1 or tied for #1 among regular programs in this time period in adults 18-49.

From its first half-hour to its second, "SVU" increased by 15 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 3.1 from a 2.7) and 14 percent or more than 1.2 million persons in total viewers (to 10.1 million from 8.8 million) while the drama competition on ABC and CBD declined half-hour to half-hour in both categories.

"Law & Order: SVU" locked up its highest 18-49 rating and biggest overall viewership since March 31.

"SVU" was up 38 percent in 18-49 rating versus NBC's average in this time period for the traditional 2008-09 season (2.9 vs. 2.1). In total viewers, "SVU" was up 35 percent or more than 2.4 million persons versus NBC's average in the slot for the 2008-09 regular season (9.5 million vs. 7.0 million). It's worth noting that "Law & Order: SVU" has added an average 23 percent to its 18-49 rating and more than 1.4 million total viewers when going from its "live plus same day" to its "live plus seven day" results.

On Thursday, April 29 from 8-8:30 p.m. ET, "Community" (1.9/6 in adults 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall) increased week-to-week by 19 percent in both 18-49 rating (1.9 vs. 1.6) and total viewers (4.4 million vs. 3.7 million). "Community" ranked #1 in its slot in men 18-34. It's worth noting that so far this season, "Community" has added 24 percent to its 18-49 rating when going from its "live plus same day" to its "live plus seven day" results.

Thursday from 8:30-9 p.m., "Parks and Recreation" (1.9/6 in 18-49, 4.0 million viewers overall) retained 100 percent of its 18-49 lead-in and has now retained 95 percent or more of its lead-in with 20 of 21 original telecasts this season. "Parks" ranked #1 among the major networks in its slot, tied with CBS's "Survivor," in men 18-34. "Parks and Recreation" has added 19 percent to its 18-49 rating when going from its "live plus same day" to its "live plus seven day" results.

Thursday from 9-9:31 p.m. ET, "The Office" (3.6/11 in adults 18-49, 7.0 million viewers overall) tied for the time-period lead in adults 18-49 with ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" and ahead of CBS's "CSI" and Fox's "Fringe." "The Office" won the slot outright in adults 18-34 and all key adult-male demos - men 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.

Week-to-week, "The Office" increased by 13 percent in adults 18-49 (3.6 vs. 3.2) and 11 percent in total viewers (7.0 million vs. 6.3 million). "The Office" is a heavily time-shifted show, adding an average 29 percent to its 18-49 rating so far this season when going from its "live plus same day" to its "live plus seven day" results. In total viewers, "The Office" adds more than 1.9 million viewers to its previously reported "live plus same day" results when "live plus seven day" ratings are released

Thursday from 9:31-10 p.m. ET, "30 Rock" (2.7/8 in 18-49, 5.4 million viewers overall) ranked #1 among the major networks in men 18-49 and men 18-34 and #2 in adults and women 18-34 and men 25-54 versus the concluding half-hours of "Grey's Anatomy" and "CSI." Week-to-week, "30 Rock" gained 8 percent in 18-49 rating (2.7 vs. 2.5) and 5 percent in total viewers (5.4 million vs. 5.2 million). "30 Rock" is a heavily time-shifted program, so far this season adding an average 26 percent to its 18-49 rating when going from its "live plus same day" to its "live plus seven day" results. In total viewers, "30 Rock" adds more than 1.3 million viewers to its previously reported "live plus same day" results when "live plus seven day" ratings are released.

Thursday at 10 p.m. ET, "The Marriage Ref" (1.9/6 in 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall) ranked #1 among the major networks in men 18-34 and #2 in adults 18-34 (tie), men 18-49 and men 25-54. It's worth noting that "Marriage Ref" has added an average 18 percent to its 18-49 rating this season when going from its "live plus same day" to its "live plus seven day" results

On Friday, April 30 from 8-9 p.m. ET, "Who Do You Think You Are?" (1.2/5 in adults 18-49, 5.1 million viewers overall) ranked #2 among the major networks in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, total viewers and other key categories. From its first half-hour to its second, "Who Do You Think You Are?" increased by 8 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.3 from a 1.2). "Who Do You Think You Are?" improved on NBC's average in the time slot during the traditional 2008-09 season by 14 percent in total viewers (5.1 million vs. 4.5 million).

Friday from 9-11 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" (1.6/5 in 18-49, 6.5 million viewers overall) reported the top rating of the night in adults 18-49. In its time period, "Dateline" ranked #1 in adults, men and women 18-49, adults, men and women 25-54 and total viewers.

This week's "Dateline" improved on NBC's average in this time period during the traditional 2008-09 season by 14 percent in adults 18-49 (1.6 vs. 1.4) and by 31 percent or more than 1.5 million persons in total viewers (6.5 million vs. 5.0 million).

This season versus last, the Friday edition of "Dateline" is up by 13 percent in 18-49 rating (1.7 vs. 1.5), up 15 percent in adults 25-54 (2.3 vs. 2.0) and up 29 percent in total viewers (7.3 million vs. 5.7 million). Season-to-date, "Dateline" is Friday's #1 newsmagazine in adults 25-54 and total viewers.

NBC ranked #1 among the major networks Friday night in adults 18-49, marking the seventh time in nine weeks that NBC has finished #1 or tied for #1 on Friday night, excluding sports, in adults 18-49.

On Saturday, May 1, from 8-9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Parenthood" (0.7/3 in 18-49, 2.5 million viewers overall) nurtured NBC's best 18-49 and total-viewer results in this time period in seven weeks (since March 13). Week-to-week, the Saturday "Parenthood" rebroadcast was up 40 percent in 18-49 (0.7 vs. 0.5) and 34 percent in total viewers (2.5 million vs. 1.8 million).

Saturday at 9 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Law & Order" (1.0/4 in 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall) was up week-to-week by 43 percent in 18-49 (1.0 vs. 0.7) and by 21 percent in total viewers (4.4 million vs. 3.6 million), to match NBC's highest non-sports 18-49 rating in this slot since December 12.

Saturday from 10-11 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 5.1 million viewers overall) was the #1 non-sports telecast in the hour on the major networks in adults 18-49, adults 18-34 and other key measures. "SVU" matched NBC's highest 18-49 rating in this time period since March 6.

On Sunday, May 2, from 7-8 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC"(1.2/4 in adults 18-49, 5.1 million viewers overall) increased from its first half-hour to its second by 30 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.3 from a 1.0) and by 15 percent in total viewers (5.5 million vs. 4.8 million). Week-to-week, the Sunday edition of "Dateline" was up 27 percent or more than 1.0 million persons in total viewers (5.1 million vs. 4.1 million).

Sunday from 8-9 p.m. ET, "Minute To Win It" (1.9/6 in 18-49, 5.6 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in from the previous hour by 58 percent in adults 18-49. "Minute" grew from half-hour to half-hour by 18 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 2.0 from a 1.7) and by 10 percent in total viewers (to 5.9 million from 5.3 million). The eight regular-slot telecasts of "Minute To Win It" have all grown substantially from half-hour to half-hour, increasing an average 31 percent in adults 18-49 and 22 percent in total viewers.

"Minute To Win It" matched its highest 18-49 rating since the show's March 14 regular-slot premiere, which earned a 2.4 rating.

Sunday from 9-11 p.m. ET, "The Celebrity Apprentice" averaged a .2.6/7 in 18-49 and 6.9 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Celebrity Apprentice" increased by 16 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.9/8 from a 2.5/7).

In the final hour of primetime from 10-11 p.m. ET, "Celebrity Apprentice" ranked #1 among the major networks in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, adults 18-34 (tie) and all key adult-male demographics.

"Celebrity Apprentice" was up 18 percent in 18-49 rating versus NBC's non-sports average in the time period this season prior to "Celebrity Apprentice" (2.6 vs. 2.2, "live plus same day"). It's worth noting that "Celebrity Apprentice" has added an average 14 percent to its 18-49 rating this season when going from its "live plus same day" to its "live plus seven day" results
