CBS WINS THE WEEK IN VIEWERS

Led by "NCIS," CBS Has Nine of the Top 10 Scripted Programs

"The Big Bang Theory" is Tops Among Scripted Programs in Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54

"Flashpoint" Sweeps its Time Period in Viewers and Key Demos for the Third Time in Four Weeks

"The 37th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards" Wins its Time Period in Viewers

CBS placed first in viewers with nine of the week's top 10 scripted series led by NCIS, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending June 27, week 40 of the 2009-2010 television year.

NCIS led scripted programs, followed by THE MENTALIST, TWO AND A HALF MEN, THE BIG BANG THEORY, NCIS: LOS ANGELES, CSI: MIAMI, CSI: NY, CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION and FLASHPOINT.

THE BIG BANG THEORY was the week's top scripted program in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54. FLASHPOINT won its Friday time period in viewers and key demos for the second consecutive week and third time in four weeks, while THE 37TH ANNUAL DAYTME EMMY AWARDS placed first in viewers with sizeable gains over last year.

For the week in viewers: CBS (6.19m), NBC (5.16m), ABC (5.13m) and FOX (4.48m). Summer-to-date in viewers: CBS (6.68m), ABC (7.05m), NBC (5.59m) and FOX (5.18m).

For the week in key demographics: CBS averaged a 1.8/05 in adults 25-54 and 1.3/04 in adults 18-49.

For the week in households: CBS (4.1/08), NBC and ABC (3.2/06, each) and FOX (2.8/05). Summer-to-date in households: CBS (4.4/08), ABC (4.3/08), NBC (3.5/06) and FOX (3.2/06).

CBS's Weekly Highlights:

? TWO AND A HALF MEN (R) was first in households (5.6/09) and viewers (8.54m); it was second in adults 25-54 (3.2/09, -0.1 behind ABC) and adults 18-49 (2.2/07). TWO AND A HALF MEN was the night's #1 program in both households and viewers.

? THE BIG BANG THEORY (R) was tied for first in adults 25-54 (3.4/09, with ABC) and second in households (5.3/09), viewers (8.32m) and adults 18-49 (2.5/07). THE BIG BANG THEORY was the night's #1 program in adults 25-54.

? FLASHPOINT was first in households (3.9/08), viewers (6.28m), adults 25-54 (1.8/06) and adults 18-49 (1.2/04) for the second consecutive week and third time in four weeks. FLASHPOINT was Friday's #1 program in viewers.

? THE 37TH ANNUAL DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS (S) was first in households (3.8/07) and viewers (5.64m); it was second in adults 25-54 (1.5/04, -0.1 behind NBC) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (1.1/03, with ABC, -0.1 behind NBC). Compared to last year, THE DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS was up +90% in households (from 2.0/03), +88% in adults 25-54 (from 0.8/02), +83% in adults 18-49 (from 0.6/02) and added +2.92m viewers (from 2.72m, +107%). Compared to the 2008 ceremony (on ABC, Friday, June 20, 2008), CBS added +250,000 viewers (from 5.39m, +5%).
