CBS WINS ITS FIFTH CONSECUTIVE WEEK IN VIEWERS
CBS Also Places First in Adults 25-54
All Three "Big Brother" Broadcasts Post Year-to-Year Gains for the Second Straight Week
"Big Brother" Page Views and Streaming on CBS.com Soar Over the Comparable Week Last Summer
CBS won its fifth consecutive week in viewers with nine of the top 10 scripted series and all three editions of BIG BROTHER posting year-to-year increases for the second straight week, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending July 25, week 44 of the 2009-2010 television year.
For the week in viewers: CBS (5.90m), ABC (4.99m), NBC (4.96m) and FOX (4.49m). Summer-to-date among viewers: CBS (6.44m), ABC (6.12m), NBC (5.44m) and FOX (5.17m).
For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (1.9/06, tie with FOX) and averaged a 1.4/05 in adults 18-49.
For the week in households: CBS (3.8/07), NBC and ABC (3.2/06, each) and FOX (2.7/05). Summer-to-date in households, CBS is first (4.2/08), ahead of ABC (3.8/07), NBC (3.4/06) and FOX (3.2/06).

BIG BROTHER
? BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY was first in households (3.9/07), viewers (6.50m), adults 25-54 (2.6/08) and adults 18-49 (2.2/08); it was second in adults 18-34 (1.8/07). Against the comparable broadcast last year (on Tuesday, July 21, at 9PM), BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY was up +8% in households (from 3.6/06), +4% in adults 25-54 (from 2.5/07), +10% in adults 18-49 (from 2.0/06), +20% in adults 18-34 (from 1.5/05) and added +780,000 viewers (from 5.72m, +14%).
? BIG BROTHER THURSDAY was tied for first in adults 18-34 (1.8/07, with ABC) and second in households (4.1/08), viewers (6.74m), adults 25-54 (2.7/09) and adults 18-49 (2.2/08). Compared to the same night last year, BIG BROTHER THURSDAY was up +2% in households (from 4.0/08), +4% in adults 25-54 (from 2.6/08), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 2.1/07), +20% in adults 18-34 (from 1.5/06) and added +340,000 viewers (from 6.40m, +5%).
? BIG BROTHER SUNDAY was first in households (4.2/08), viewers (7.19m), adults 25-54 (3.1/09), adults 18-49 (2.5/08) and adults 18-34 (2.0/08) for the third consecutive week. Compared to last week, BIG BROTHER SUNDAY was up +2% in households (from 4.1/08), +3% in adults 25-54 (from 3.0/09), +9% in adults 18-49 (from 2.3/08), +17% in adults 18-34 (from 1.8/07) and added +270,000 viewers (from 6.92m, +4%). Compared to the same night last year (BIG BROTHER 11 SUNDAY), BIG BROTHER 12 SUNDAY was up +14% in households, +24% in adults 25-54, +25% in adults 18-49 and +31% in adults 18-34.
? Last week, BIG BROTHER on CBS.com attracted over 5.6 million page views, +57% more than the same week last summer. The average visitor spent 13 minutes per session, +84% greater than year ago. In terms of video streaming, BIG BROTHER attracted over 1.3 million total streams last week, +27% more than 2009, with full- episode views accounting for over half of all streams.
