ON THURSDAY, '30 ROCK' MATCHES A SLOT HIGH SINCE MAY 20 AND 'PARKS AND REC' EQUALS ITS HIGHEST RATING SINCE JUNE 3

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - August 17, 2010 - Led by "America's Got Talent," "Minute to Win It" and "Law & Order: SVU," NBC averaged a 1.4 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49 and 4.9 million viewers overall for the week of August 9-15, according to in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research. For the week, NBC ranked #3 among the major networks in adults 18-49 and #2 in total viewers.

The Tuesday edition of "America's Got Talent" ranked #2 among all primetime programs this week in adults 18-49, while the Wednesday edition of "Talent" ranked #3 (tied) in the key demographic. Also ranking among the top 20 programs of the week in adults 18-49 were NBC's Wednesday "Minute to Win It" (#16) and the Wednesday encore telecast of "Law & Order: SVU" (tied at #17).

In total viewers, Wednesday's "America's Got Talent," with 10.7 million viewers, was the #1 program of the week, while the Tuesday edition of "America's Got Talent," with 10. 5 million viewers, ranked #2. An edition of "America's Got Talent" has been the #1 non-sports telecast in total viewers for 10 out of the last 11 weeks this summer.

Primetime averages for the week of August 9-15 in adults 18-49 were Fox (1.8/6), CBS (1.5/5), NBC (1.4/4), ABC (1.3/4) and CW (0.4/1). In overall total viewers the weekly averages were CBS (6.4 million), NBC (4.9 million), Fox (4.8 million), ABC (4.3 million) and CW (1.0 million).

NBC highlights for the week of August 9-15

* On Tuesday, "America's Goat Talent" was the #1 telecast of the night in total viewers. The Tuesday "Talent" matched its highest 18-49 rating in three weeks and also hit a three-week high in total viewers.

* Tuesday's "America's Got Talent" won its two-hour time period in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key categories. For its concluding hour from 10-11 p.m. ET, "America's Got Talent" was a dominant #1 among the major networks, beating the combined ABC-CBS results in all key ratings categories - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49, 25-54 and total viewers

* Also on Tuesday, an encore telecast of "Minute to Win It" ticked off NBC's best 18-49 and total-viewer result in this time period in nine weeks, against such tough competition as Fox's "Hell's Kitchen" season finale, ABC's "Wipeout" and CBS's "NCIS" encore.

* On Wednesday, "America's Got Talent" was the #1 show of the night in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures. "Talent" matched its highest 18-49 rating in four weeks (since July 14) and delivered its biggest overall Wednesday audience since that same date.

* The Wednesday "Talent" won its time period in 18-49, total viewers and other key measures, taking the hour by a margin of 33 percent in adults 18-49 and 63 percent or more than 4.1 million persons in total viewers.

* Also on Wednesday, "Minute to Win It" grew from its first half-hour to its second by 31 percent in 18-49 rating and 24 percent in total viewers, by far the biggest half-hour to half-hour increases among the major networks in the hour. For its second half-hour from 8:30-9 p.m. ET, "Minute" ranked #1 in total viewers, men 18-34 and men 18-49 in a time period that included competition from CBS's "Big Brother" and Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance."

* Additionally on Wednesday, an encore telecast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" ranked #1 among the major networks in adults 18-49 and all other key demographics. In adults 18-49, "Law & Order: SVU" locked up its highest rating in five weeks and led the hour by a 50 percent margin. "SVU" has now ranked #1 or tied for #1 in adults 18-49 in this time period with its last 10 consecutive telecasts.

* NBC tied for #1 for the night in adults 18-49 (with a 2.2 rating from 8-11 p.m. ET vs. a 2.2 for Fox from 8-10 p.m. ET) and won the night in adults 25-54 and total viewers.

* On Thursday, an 8:30 p.m. ET rebroadcast of "30 Rock" matched NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the time period since May 20, while a 9:30 encore of "Parks and Recreation" equaled the show's highest 18-49 rating since June 3.

* On Sunday, an encore telecast of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" at 9 p.m. ET captured the show's biggest overall viewership for a Sunday telecast since June 27, while the 10 p.m. "CI" rebroadcast locked up the show's highest 18-49 rating for a Sunday telecast since that same date.

Ratings reflect "live plus same day" data unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."

On Monday, August 9 from 8-9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" (1.2 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49, 4.9 million viewers overall) matched NBC's highest 18-49 rating in this time period in nine weeks (since June 7) and attracted the network's biggest overall viewership in the hour in four weeks (since July 12). From its first half-hour to its second, the "Talent" encore grew by 25 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.5 from a 1.2).

Monday from 9-11 p.m. ET, "Last Comic Standing" averaged a 1.5/4 in adults 18-49 and 3.9 million viewers overall with its season finale. "Last Comic" ranked #1 among the major networks in its time period in men 18-34 and #2 in men 18-49 and men 25-54.

On Tuesday, August 10 at 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Minute to Win It" (1.5/5 in 18-49, 4.9 million viewers overall) ticked off NBC's best 18-49 and total-viewer result in this time period in nine weeks (since June 8). From its first half-hour to its second, "Minute" grew by 23 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.6 rating from a 1.3) and 16 percent in total viewers (5.2 million vs. 4.5 million) while facing such tough competition as Fox's "Hell's Kitchen" season finale, ABC's "Wipeout" and CBS's "NCIS" encore

Tuesday from 9-11 p.m. ET, "America's Got Talent" (2.9/9 in 18-49, 10.5 million viewers overall) was the #1 telecast of the night in total viewers. The Tuesday "Talent" matched its highest 18-49 rating in three weeks and also hit a three-week high in total viewers.

"America's Got Talent" won its two-hour time period in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, total viewers and other key categories. For its concluding hour from 10-11 p.m. ET, "America's Got Talent" was a dominant #1 among the major networks, beating the combined ABC-CBS results in all key ratings categories - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49, 25-54 and total viewers.

NBC ranked #1 in primetime Tuesday night in total viewers and #2 in adults 18-49.

On Wednesday, August 11 from 8-9 p.m. ET, "Minute to Win It" (1.9/7 in 18-49, 6.5 million viewers overall) ranked #2 among the major networks in total viewers and men 18-34 (tie), men 18-49 and men 25-54.

From its first half-hour to its second, "Minute to Win It" grew by 31 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.1/7 from a 1.6/6) and 24 percent or more than 1.3 million persons in total viewers (to 7.2 million from 5.8 million), by far the biggest half-hour to half-hour increases among the major networks in the hour. For its second half-hour from 8:30-9 p.m. ET, "Minute to Win It" ranked #1 among the major networks in total viewers, men 18-34 and men 18-49 in a time period that included competition from CBS's "Big Brother" and Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance."

Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET, "America's Got Talent" (2.8/8 in 18-49, 10.7 million viewers overall) scored the #1 results of the night in adults 18-49 and total viewers. "Talent" matched its highest 18-49 rating in four weeks (since July 14) and delivered its biggest overall Wednesday audience since that same date.

"America's Got Talent" won its time period in 18-49, total viewers and other key measures. "Talent" took the hour by a margin of 33 percent in adults 18-49 (2.8 vs. 2.1 for Fox's second-place "So You Think You Can Dance") and by 63 percent or more than 4.1 million persons in total viewers (10.7 million vs. 6.5 million for CBS's second-place "Criminal Minds" encore).

Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1.8/6 in adults 18-49, 5.7 million viewers overall) ranked #1 among the major networks in adults 18-49 and all other key demographics. In adults 18-49, "Law & Order: SVU" locked up its highest rating in five weeks (since July 7) and led the hour by a 50 percent margin (1.8 vs. a 1.2 for CBS's second-place "CSI: NY" rebroadcast). "SVU" has now ranked #1 or tied for #1 in adults 18-49 in this time period with its last 10 consecutive telecasts. In total viewers, this was the top Wednesday "SVU" result in four weeks (since July 14).

NBC tied for #1 for the night in adults 18-49 (with a 2.2 rating from 8-11 p.m. ET vs. a 2.2 for Fox from 8-10 p.m. ET). NBC ranked #1 on Wednesday night in adults 25-54 and total viewers.

On Thursday, August 12 at 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Community" (1.0/3, 2.7 million viewers overall) delivered the show's biggest overall audience in three weeks (since July 22).

Thursday from 8:30-9 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "30 Rock" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 2.6 million viewers overall) matched NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the time period in 12 weeks (since May 20, during the May sweep) and attracted the slot's biggest overall audience in three weeks (since July 22).

Thursday from 9-9:31 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "The Office" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 2.9 million viewers overall) matched the show's highest 18-49 rating in three weeks (since July 22). In the time period, "The Office" was #2 among the major networks in men 18-34 and tied for #2 in adults 18-34 and men 18-49.

Thursday from 9:31-10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Parks and Recreation" (1.1/3 in 18-49, 2.3 million viewers overall) matched the show's highest 18-49 rating since June 3. "Parks" is up week to week by 10 percent in 18-49 rating (1.1 vs. 1.0).

Thursday at 10 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1.1/3 in 18-49, 3.2 million viewers overall) matched the show's highest 18-49 rating in three weeks (since July 22). In the time period, "SVU" tied for #2 among the major networks in adults 18-49.

On Friday, August 13 from 8-9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Who Do You Think You Are" averaged a 0.7/3 in 18-49 and a 2.8 million viewers overall.

Friday from 9-11 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" delivered a 1.0/4 in 18-49 and 4.3 million viewers overall. In the two-hour time period, "Dateline" tied for #2 among the major networks in adults 25-54 and #2 outright in women 25-54.

On Saturday, August 14 from 8-10 p.m. ET, NBC Sports' coverage of the Visa U.S. Gymnastics Championship averaged a 0.6/3 in 18-49 and 2.3 million viewers overall.

Saturday at 10 p.m. ET, "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" captured a 0.6/3 in 18-49 and 2.3 million viewers overall. In the time period, "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" ranked #2 among the major networks in nearly all key ratings categories and tied for #1 among men 18-34.

On Sunday, August 15 from 7-8 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" averaged a 0.9/3 in 18-49 and 4.4 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its second, "Dateline" increased its 18-49 rating by 25 percent (to a 1.0 from a 0.8).

Sunday from 8-9 p.m. ET, "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall) matched NBC's highest 18-49 rating in this time period since June 27.

Sunday at 9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (1.1/3 in 18-49, 5.3 million viewers overall) captured the show's biggest overall viewership for a Sunday telecast since June 27. From its first half-hour to its second, the 9 p.m. edition of "CI" grew by 10 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.1 from a 1.0) and 14 percent in total viewers (5.6 million vs. 4.9 million).

Sunday at 10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (1.2/3 in 18-49, 4.9 million viewers overall) locked up the show's highest 18-49 rating for a Sunday telecast since June 27. In the time period, "CI" ranked #2 among the major networks in all key ratings categories.
