During the week of August 16, 2010, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" drew its second-largest Adult 18-49 audience (621,000) in 8 weeks - since w/o 6/21/10.
· "JKL" grew sharply over the year-ago week (w/o 8/17/09) for the 3rd consecutive week in both Total Viewers (+20% - 1.48 million vs. 1.23 million) and Adults 18-49 (+22% - 621,000 vs. 509,000). Further, "JKL" built on its overall audience year to year for the 5th straight week and for the 10th time in the 12 weeks this summer.
· ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" outperformed CBS' "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" by 16% in Total Viewers (1.48 million vs. 1.28 million) and by 20% in Adults 18-49 (621,000 vs. 516,000), topping the CBS late night program in both measures for the 3rd week running. In addition, "JKL" beat CBS' "Ferguson" for the 5th time in the last 6 weeks with young adults.
Summer 2010 (5/31 - 8/22/10):
Summer to date, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" is posting increases of 13% in Total Viewers (1.53 million vs. 1.36 million) and 16% in Adults 18-49 (639,000 vs. 553,000) over the same point last summer. In fact, "JKL" is the only late night entertainment program to be up summer to summer in the key young adult demo. Furthermore, "JKL" is attracting its largest summer audience in 4 years - since summer 2006.
· "JKL" is outdrawing CBS' "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" during the summer in Total Viewers (1.53 million vs. 1.52 million) and Adults 18-49 (639,000 vs. 599,000).

"NIGHTLINE" BESTS "LETTERMAN" 19 CONSECUTIVE WEEKS
IN TOTAL VIEWERS�FIRST TIME IN 11 YEARS
"NIGHTLINE" EXPERIENCES MOST YEAR-TO-YEAR GROWTH AMONG A25-54
ABC News' "Nightline" continues to rank No. 1 for the full 2009-2010 season to date, with 3.73 million Total Viewers, outperforming both CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" and NBC's "Tonight Show with Jay Leno," according to Nielsen Media Research. For the 19th consecutive week, ABC News' "Nightline" has outperformed "Letterman" among Total Viewers. The last time this happened was in 1999. Additionally, for the week of August 16, 2010, "Nightline" ranked second among A25-54, A18-49 and Total Viewers.
Compared to last year, "Nightline" experienced the most growth among the key Adults 25-54 demographic. Year to year, "Nightline" climbed +2% in the A25-54 demo, while "Letterman" in comparison declined -21%.
ABC News' "Nightline" is anchored by Cynthia McFadden, Terry Moran and Bill Weir. John Donvan and Vicki Mabrey are correspondents. James Goldston is the executive producer. The program airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m., ET on the ABC Television Network.
