CBS placed first in viewers for the 10th consecutive week, first in adults 18-49 and first in adults 25-54 led by all three editions of BIG BROTHER, rebroadcasts of the Network's scripted series and pre-season football, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Aug. 29, week 49 of the 2009-2010 television year.
CBS had 9 of the top 10 scripted series for the fifth consecutive week: NCIS; TWO AND A HALF MEN; THE BIG BANG THEORY; NCIS: LOS ANGELES; THE MENTALIST; CRIMINAL MINDS; CSI: MIAMI; CSI: NY and CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION.
BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY and SUNDAY all placed in the top 10 in adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.
For the week in viewers: CBS (6.62m), NBC (6.37m), FOX (5.06m) and ABC (4.30m). Summer-to-date among viewers, CBS (6.44m) leads ABC (5.74m), NBC (5.55m) and FOX (5.18m).
For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (2.3/07) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (1.8/06, with both NBC and FOX).
For the week in households: CBS (4.2/08), NBC (4.0/07), FOX (3.1/06) and ABC (2.7/05). Summer-to-date in households, CBS is first (4.2/08), ahead of ABC (3.6/07), NBC (3.5/06) and FOX (3.2/06).

? BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY was first in households (4.7/08), viewers (7.99m), adults 25-54 (3.2/10), adults 18-49 (2.8/09) and adults 18-34 (2.6/10). BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY was the night's top program in both adults 18-49 and adults 18-34. These were season highs for BIG BROTHER on any night in households, viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34. This was the highest-rated broadcast of BIG BROTHER with adults 18-34 since Sept. 18, 2007, the highest-rated in adults 18-49 since Sept. 15, 2009, and most-watched telecast since Aug. 18, 2009. Versus the comparable broadcast last year (on Tuesday, Aug. 25, at 9:01 PM), BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY was up +4% in households (from 4.5/07), +12% in adults 18-49 (from 2.5/07), +39% in adults 18-34 (from 1.8/06), even in adults 25-54 and added +710,000 viewers (from 7.28m, +10%).
? BIG BROTHER THURSDAY was first in households (4.6/08), viewers (7.87m), adults 25-54 (3.2/10), adults 18-49 (2.7/10) and adults 18-34 (2.3/09). Compared to the same night last year, BIG BROTHER THURSDAY was up +5% in adults 18-34 (from 2.2/08), even in adults 18-49 and added +70,000 viewers (from 7.80m, +1%).
? BIG BROTHER SUNDAY posted a 4.5/08 with 7.80m viewers, 3.3/09 in adults 25-54, 2.8/08 in adults 18-49 and 2.5/08 in adults 18-34. BIG BROTHER SUNDAY posted its best Sunday deliveries in both viewers and adults 18-49 since April 13, 2008 (BIG BROTHER 9 SUNDAY), and best Sunday adults 18-34 delivery since Aug. 20, 2006 (BIG BROTHER 7 SUNDAY). ? Last week, BIG BROTHER on CBS.com attracted over 5.3 million page views, +24% more than the same week last summer. The average visitor spent 12.6 minutes per session, +44% greater than a year ago.
