UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - October 21, 2010 - NBC's late-night lineup has delivered ratings wins for the week of October 11-15, with "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" increasing their margins in adult 18-49 viewers over CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" and "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson," respectively, versus both the prior week and the same week last year.

In adult 18-49 rating points, "Tonight" tied CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" for the week (0.9 rating each) and tied ABC's "Nightline" head to head from 11:35 p.m.-midnight ET (1.0 rating each), while winning head-to-head over both "Late Show" and "Nightline" in total viewers (3.574 million vs. 3.385 million for "Late Show" for the hour and 4.043 million vs. 3.976 million for "Nightline" from 11:35 p.m.-midnight). "Tonight" also topped "Late Show" in viewer totals for adults 18-49, adults, men and women 18-34 and other key categories.

"Tonight" stretched its margins over "Late Show" week to week and versus the same week last year. In adult 18-49 viewers, "Tonight" led "Late Show" last week by a 6 percent margin (1.226 million vs. 1.158 million), up from a 0.3 percent margin last week and reversing the order from the same week last year, when "Late Show" led by 2 percent. In total viewers, "Tonight" beat "Late Show" last week by a 6 percent margin (3.574 million vs. 3.385 million), up from last week's 2 percent and reversing the order for the same week last year, when "Late Show" won by a 68 percent margin.

Through the first four weeks of the 2010-11 season, "Tonight" is leading "Late Show" by a 5 percent margin in adult 18-49 viewers (1.265 million vs. 1.205 million), reversing the order at this point one year ago, when "Late Show" held an 8 percent lead (1.478 million vs. 1.363 million). In total viewers, "Tonight" leads "Late Show" through four weeks of the season by a 4 percent margin (3.720 million vs. 3.579 million), reversing the order of one year ago, when "Late Show" led by an 81 percent margin (4.588 million vs. 2.533 million).

At 12:35 a.m. ET last week, "Late Night" out-delivered "Late Late Show" for the week in adults 18-49, adults, men and women 18-34 and most other key demographics. Jimmy Fallon lengthened his 18-49 lead over Ferguson versus both last week and last year, topping "Late Late Show" by a 19 percent margin (814,000 vs. 683,000), up from a 12 percent win last week and an 11 percent victory last year.

Through the first four weeks of the 2010-11 season, Jimmy Fallon is leading "Late Late Show" by a 14 percent margin in adult 18-49 viewers (791,000 vs. 691,000), building on his lead of one year ago that stood at 2 percent (836,000 vs. 816,000). In total viewers, Jimmy has cut the year-ago "Late Late Show" lead down to 3 percent (1.786 million vs. 1.732 million) from its year-ago 41 percent (2.023 million vs. 1.438 million).

Versus the first four weeks of last season, "Tonight" is matching its adult 18-49 rating (1.0 vs. 1.0) and is running within 7 percent of its year-ago 18-49 viewership (1.265 million vs. 1.363 million), while "Late Show" is down 18 percent (1.205 million vs. 1.478 million), "Nightline" is down 7 percent (1.288 million vs. 1.389 million) and "Jimmy Kimmel Live" is down 1 percent (697,000 vs. 707,000). At 12:35 a.m. ET, Jimmy Fallon is matching his year-ago 0.6 rating in adults 18-49 and is running within 5 percent of last year in 18-49 viewers (791,000 vs. 836,000), while "Late Late Show" is down 15 percent (691,000 vs. 816,000).

In total viewers, "Tonight" is up 47 percent versus its average viewership for the first four weeks of last season (3.720 million vs. 2.533 million), while "Late Show" is down 22 percent (3.579 million vs. 4.588 million), "Nightline" is down 5 percent (3.808 million vs. 4.008 million) and "Kimmel" is down 1 percent (1.675 million vs. 1.694 million). At 12:35 a.m. ET, Jimmy Fallon is up 20 percent versus his year-ago pace in total viewers (1.732 million vs. 1.438 million), while "Late Late Show" is down 12 percent (1.786 million vs. 2.023 million).

For the week at 1:35 a.m. ET, "Last Call with Carson Daly" (0.4 rating in 18-49, 0.3 in 18-34) finished within a tenth of a rating point of ABC's "Kimmel" and CBS's "Late Late Show" in 18-49 and tied Kimmel in adult 18-34 rating despite starting 90 minutes later than "Kimmel" and an hour later than "Late Late Show."

Versus the same week last year, "Last Call" is up 8 percent in 18-49 viewers (529,000 vs. 492,000) and up 23 percent in total viewers (1.005 million vs. 818,000). Through the first four weeks of the season, Carson Daly is up 9 percent in 18-49 viewers (500,000 vs. 459,000) and up 22 percent in total viewers (1.002 million vs. 822,000).
