During the week of October 18, 2010, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" saw week-to-week increases in both Total Viewers (1.73 million vs. 1.67 million) and Adults 18-49 (658,000 vs. 657,000), attracting the late-night program's largest audience of the season. In fact, "JKL" drew its highest Total Viewer count in over 4 months � since w/o 6/14/10. In addition, for the 3rd time in 5 weeks of the season, "JKL" was up over the year-ago week in Total Viewers (1.65 million on w/o 10/19/09).
· ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" beat CBS' "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" in Total Viewers (1.73 million vs. 1.65 million) and Adults 18-49 (658,000 vs. 610,000), topping the CBS late night program in the key young adult demo for the 3rd time in 5 weeks of the season.
· For the 2nd week in a row, "Jimmy Kimmel Live" bettered NBC's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" in Total Viewers (1.73 million vs. 1.41 million). "JKL" also outperformed "Fallon" among Adults 25-54 (831,000 vs. 718,000) and Women 18-49 (399,000 vs. 365,000).

NIGHTLINE" IS #1 IN ADULTS 18-49, ADULTS 25-54 AND TOTAL VIEWERS
FOR THE THIRD CONSECUTIVE WEEK
"NIGHTLINE" IS #1 FOR THE SEASON TO DATE IN A18-49, A25-54 AND TOTAL VIEWERS FOR FIRST TIME SINCE 1995
ABC News' "Nightline" is the number one program among Total Viewers (3.77 million), Adults 25-54 (1.55 million), and Adults 18-49 (1.20 million), outperforming NBC's "The Tonight Show" and CBS' "Late Show with David Letterman" according to Nielsen Media Research for the week of October 18, 2010. This is the third week in a row "Nightline" has been the number one program among Total Viewers, Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49. Both "Letterman" and "Leno" aired repeats last week and originals the previous two weeks.
Season-to-date, "Nightline" also ranks in first place among Total Viewers, A25-54 and A18-49. The last time "Nightline" was in first place at this point in the season was during the 1995-96 season.
"Nightline's" demo lead over "The Late Show" increased +21% versus last week. "Nightline's" demo advantage over "The Tonight Show" increased +38% versus last week while the total viewing lead expanded +37% week-to-week.
ABC News' "Nightline" is anchored by Cynthia McFadden, Terry Moran and Bill Weir. John Donvan and Vicki Mabrey are correspondents. James Goldston is the executive producer. The program airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m., ET on the ABC Television Network.
