Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night:
ABC (17.51 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.7, #1) was king once again on Monday thanks to new episodes of "Dancing With the Stars" (20.38 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 4.2, #2) and "Castle" (11.75 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.8, #9).
CBS (10.63 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.4, #2) then had to settle for second place with new episodes of "How I Met Your Mother" (9.08 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 3.5, #5), "Rules of Engagement" (8.64 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 3.1, #7), "Two and a Half Men" (14.02 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 4.4, #1), "Mike & Molly" (11.35 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 3.7, #T3) and "Hawaii Five-0" (10.34 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.9, #8).
Next up was FOX (7.48 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.7, #3) with the return of "House" (9.65 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 3.7, #T3) followed by a new "Lie to Me" (5.30 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.8, #10).
Meanwhile, NBC (5.70 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.5, #4) offered up its "Decision Points: A Conversation With George W. Bush" (7.03 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T11) special alongside new episodes of "The Event" (5.52 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T11) and "Chase" (4.54 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.2, #13).
And finally, new episodes of "90210" (1.85 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.8, #15) and "Gossip Girl" (1.81 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.9, #14) on The CW (1.83 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.9, #5) rounded out the evening.

In late-night metered market ratings, ABC's "Nightline" (3.7/9) took top honors ahead of CBS's "Letterman" (2.5/7) and NBC's "Leno" (2.7/7). Rounding out the night then were "Kimmel" (1.7/5) on ABC "Ferguson" (1.4/5) on CBS and "Fallon" (1.2/4) and "Daly" (0.7/3) on NBC.

A close second place then went to CBS (11.89 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.9, #2) with its mix of "How I Met Your Mother" (8.96 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 3.5, #T5), "Accidentally on Purpose" (8.20 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 3.0, #T7), "Two and a Half Men" (14.12 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 4.4, #3), "The Big Bang Theory" (12.41 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 4.5, #2) and "CSI: Miami" (13.83 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 4.0, #4).

Meanwhile, NBC (4.90 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.8, #4) was once again stuck in fourth place with new episodes of "Heroes" (5.35 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 2.3, #10), "Trauma" (5.37 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.8, #11) and "The Jay Leno Show" (3.96 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T12).
And finally, new episodes of "One Tree Hill" (2.67 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T12) and "Gossip Girl" (2.31 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T12) on The CW (2.49 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.2, #5) rounded out the evening.
