'LAST CALL WITH CARSON DALY' GROWS VERSUS THE SAME WEEK LAST YEAR BY 22 PERCENT IN 18-49 VIEWERS AND 39 PERCENT IN TOTAL VIEWERS

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - November 11, 2010 - NBC's late-night lineup has delivered ratings victories for the week of November 1-5, with "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" winning their hours over all cable and broadcast entertainment competition in viewers 18-49 and total viewers. Note that Tuesday late-night programming on the broadcast networks is excluded from these averages due to Election Day disruptions.

Jay generated his biggest adult 18-49 audience (1.259 million) in five weeks, since the week of September 27-October 1. In total viewers, it was Jay's biggest audience (3.888 million) in seven weeks, since September 13-17.

Jimmy Fallon delivered his biggest adult 18-49 audience (827,000) in six weeks (since the week of September 20-24) and his biggest overall viewer total (1.827 million) in eight weeks (since September 6-10).

Versus the same week last year, "Tonight" grew by 4 percent in 18-49 viewers and 67 percent in total viewers. "Tonight" out-delivered CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" last week by 5 percent in 18-49 viewers and 4 percent in total viewers, after "Late Show" prevailed during the same week last year by advantages of 1 percent in 18-49 and 66 percent in total viewers.

At 12:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" delivered bigger audiences than CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" in all key ratings categories -- adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.

Versus the same week last year, Jimmy Fallon was up 16 percent in 18-49 viewers and 45 percent in total viewers. Jimmy outscored "Late Late Show" by 27 percent in 18-49 viewers and 6 percent in total viewers for the week, reversing the order for the same week last year, when "Late Late Show" led by 5 percent in 18-49 and 47 percent in total viewers.

Through the first seven weeks of the 2010-11 season, "Tonight" is leading "Late Show" by a 3 percent margin in adult 18-49 viewers (1.232 million vs. 1.196 million), reversing the order at this point one year ago, when "Late Show" held a 4 percent lead (1.388 million vs. 1.335 million). In total viewers, "Tonight" leads "Late Show" through seven weeks of the season by a 2 percent margin (3.673 million vs. 3.595 million), reversing the order of one year ago, when "Late Show" led by a 72 percent advantage (4.309 million vs. 2.502 million).

Through the first seven weeks of the 2010-11 season, Jimmy Fallon is leading "Late Late Show" by a 13 percent margin in adult 18-49 viewers (775,000 vs. 683,000), building on his lead of one year ago that stood at 1 percent (798,000 vs. 794,000). In total viewers, Jimmy has cut the year-ago "Late Late Show" lead down to 5 percent (1.773 million vs. 1.696 million) from its year-ago 41 percent (1.947 million vs. 1.385 million).

Versus the first seven weeks of last season, "Tonight" is running within 8 percent of its year-ago 18-49 viewership (1.232 million vs. 1.335 million) while "Late Show" is down 14 percent (1.196 million vs. 1.388 million). At 12:35 a.m. ET, Jimmy Fallon is matching his year-ago 0.6 rating in adults 18-49 and running within 3 percent of last year in 18-49 viewers (775,000 vs. 798,000) while "Late Late Show" is down 14 percent (683,000 vs. 794,000).

In total viewers, "Tonight" is up 47 percent versus its average viewership for the first seven weeks of last season (3.673 million vs. 2.502 million) while "Late Show" is down 17 percent (3.595 million vs. 4.309 million). At 12:35 a.m. ET, Jimmy Fallon is up 22 percent versus his year-ago pace in total viewers (1.696 million vs. 1.385 million), while "Late Late Show" is down 9 percent (1.773 million vs. 1.947 million).

For the week at 1:35 a.m. ET, "Last Call with Carson Daly" (0.4 rating in 18-49, 0.3 in 18-34) finished within a tenth of a rating point of ABC's "Kimmel" and CBS's "Late Late Show" in adult 18-49 rating and tied both "Kimmel" and "Late Late Show" in adult 18-34 rating despite starting 90 minutes later than "Kimmel" and an hour later than "Late Late Show."

Versus the same week last year, "Last Call" was up 22 percent in 18-49 viewers (517,000 vs. 425,000) and up 39 percent in total viewers (1.070 million vs. 769,000). Through the first seven weeks of the season, "Last Call" is up by 7 percent in 18-49 viewers (478,000 vs. 448,000) and up 21 percent in total viewers (960,000 vs. 792,000).
