ABC's "DWTS: The Results" is #1 at 9pm, with its Biggest Audience since September

Some early points on ABC's Tuesday, ahead of the regular press release.

ABC registered as the 2nd-most-watched network overall on Tuesday to CBS, topping Fox by 2.5 million viewers and NBC by 4.6 million.

For the 8th straight telecast this season, ABC freshman No Ordinary Family attracted a larger overall audience than NBC's veteran The Biggest Loser. Opposite stiff competition in Tuesday's 8pm hour, including Fox's original Glee and CBS' top-rated NCIS, No Ordinary gained viewers and young adults throughout its broadcast.

Ranking #1 in the 9 o'clock hour for the 3rd straight week in Viewers and Adults 18-49, ABC's Dancing with the Stars: The Results generated its most-watched telecast in 7 weeks � since 9/28/10. Singer and actress, Brandy was the ninth and final celebrity to be eliminated from the ABC dance competition this season. Rising over its year-ago telecast in viewers and young adults, DWTS: The Results increased its overall audience year to year for its 9th consecutive airing.

Growing week to week, ABC's freshman Detroit 1-8-7 registered as the 2nd-most-watched TV show in the 10 o'clock hour, bettering NBC's sophomore drama, Parenthood, for the 8th consecutive telecast this season (by +3.6 million viewer advantage). The ABC drama also topped its NBC drama competition with Adults 25-54 for the 7th time in 8 telecasts this season, including each of the past 4 matchups. Detroit 1-8-7 continued to draw more viewers to Tuesday's 10 o'clock hour, than on the same night last year, and on average has improved the slot for ABC by 6% over the same point last season.
