During the week of November 8, 2010, ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live registered season-highs in both Total Viewers and Adults 18-49. Building on the previous week by 6% in viewers and by 7% in young adults, JKL drew its largest weekly audience in nearly 6 months and best young adult performance in nearly 5 months - since w/o 5/24/10 and w/o 6/14/10, respectively. In addition, JKL was up in viewers over the year-ago week, turning in its 4th consecutive week of year-to-year increases and for the 6th time in 8 weeks this season.
Jimmy Kimmel Live beat NBC's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon in both Total Viewers and Adults 18-49, topping the NBC program among young adults for the first time this season. In addition, JKL outdrew Fallon in Total Viewers for the 4th time in the last 5 weeks .
ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live bettered CBS' The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49, outdrawing Ferguson in young adults for the 4th week in a row.
Excluding the NBA Finals-led broadcast in June, JKL's Wednesday telecast (11/10/10) attracted the ABC late-night program's largest audience since May and highest Total Viewer count on the night in nearly 2 years - since 5/25/10 and 11/26/08.

"NIGHTLINE" IS #1 SEASON TO DATE AMONG ADULTS 18-49,
ADULTS 25-54 AND TOTAL VIEWERS FOR FIRST TIME SINCE 1993
ABC News' "Nightline" is the No. 1 program among Total Viewers (4.04 million), outperforming NBC's "The Tonight Show" and CBS' "Late Show with David Letterman," according to Nielsen Media Research for the week of November 8, 2010. This is the sixth week in a row "Nightline" has been the No. 1 program among Total Viewers. For the week, "Nightline" was also first among Adults 25-54 (1.72 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.36 million).
"Nightline" also ranks in first place among Total Viewers, A25-54 and A18-49. This is the first time "Nightline" has been in first place at this point in the season since at least the 1993-94 season, when "Letterman" began on CBS.
Week to week, "Nightline" was the only Late Night program to grow its audience versus the competition. Week to week, "Nightline" grew +8% among A25-54, +9% among A18-49 and +3% among Total Viewers.
Versus last week, "Nightline's" demo lead over the "Tonight Show" was +633% larger while the total viewing lead expanded +1000%. "Nightline's" demo lead over "Letterman" increased +18% versus last year. In addition, "Nightline's" total viewing lead over "Letterman" increased +74% versus last week and +450% versus last year.

In addition, "JKL" was up in viewers over the year-ago week (1.80 million on w/o 11/9/09), turning in its 4th consecutive week of year-to-year increases and up for the 6th time in 8 weeks this season.
