Powered by a record-setting start to the network's annual 25 Days of Christmas event, the week of Nov. 29, 2010 ranked as ABC Family's most-watched week of all time in Primetime in Adults 18-34 (693,000), Women 18-34 (433,000) and Viewers 12-34 (976,000), and was its second-most-watched week on record in Adults 18-49 (1.22 million).
In Prime, ABC Family was cable's #1 network in Women 18-34, Women 18-49, Viewers 12-34 and Females 12-34, and the #2 network in Total Viewers (2.6 million).
25 Days of Christmas 2010 is off to the event's strongest start ever in Total Viewers (3.1 million), Adults 18-34 (802,000), Adults 18-49 (1.43 million) and Viewers 12-34 (1.15 million), as well as across the network's target female demos: W18-34 (501,000), W18-49 (888,000) and F12-34 (718,000).
Compared to the first 5 nights in 2009, 25 Days of Christmas 2010 is up by double-digit percent margins across the board including by 19% in Total Viewers (3.09 million vs. 2.60 million), by 20% in Adults 18-49 (1.43 million vs. 1.19 million) and by 25% in Women 18-49 (888,000 vs. 711,000).
ABC Family aired the Top 6 basic cable movies this week in Adults 18-49 and Women 18-34, and the Top 7 in Women 18-49, fronted by:
Launching this year's event, "Dr Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas" (12/1, 8pm) was cable's #1 movie of the week across all demos including Total Viewers (4.24 million), Adults 18-34 (1.27 million/1.8 rating), Adults 18-49 (2.05 million/1.6 rating) and Women 18-49 (1.32 million/2.0 rating).
Sunday's 9pm airing of "Harry Potter & the Order of Phoenix" (12/5, 9pm) was cable's #2 movie of the week in Adults 18-49 (1.70 million/1.3 rating), Women 18-49 (1.04 million/1.6 rating) and Adults 18-34 (951,000/1.4 rating).
Sunday's 7:30pm airing of "Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire" (12/4, 7:30pm) was cable's #3 movie of the week in Adults 18-49 (1.54 million/1.2 rating).
