Traffic for 60 MINUTES Online Properties Continues to Rise

60 MINUTES was one of America's five most-watched programs again, drawing 12.85 million viewers to finish at #5 for the week. It was the fourth straight time the news magazine made the upper half of Nielsen's Top 10 list. America's number-one news program has finished in the top 10 nine times over the broadcast's 14 telecasts this season -- six times ranking at #5 or higher.
The program also finished # 5 in households, scoring an 8.0/13 in that category, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, Jan. 2.
Online traffic to the broadcast's digital properties continues to rise, with 60MINUTES.com and 60MinutesOvertime.com posting season-to-date increases in page views (+42 percent) and video streams (+20 percent).
The 60MINUTES iPad app is still the #1 paid news app.
Sunday's program featured Scott Pelley's interview with drug-company whistle-blower Cheryl Eckard and Morley Safer's jazz journey with Wynton Marsalis and Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra.
