UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - January 13, 2011 - NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" has generated ratings victories for the week of January 3-7, out-delivering CBS's "Late Show" in all key ratings categories. "Tonight" increased its margins of victory over "Late Show" versus the same week last year in viewers 18-49 and total viewers.

At 12:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" also delivered bigger audiences than CBS's "Late Late Show" in all key ratings categories: adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.

"Tonight" topped "Late Show" for the week by a 13 percent margin in viewers 18-49 (1.220 million vs. 1.080 million), up from a 10 percent margin for the same week last year (1.351 million vs. 1.228 million). In total viewers, "Tonight" led by 1 percent (3.612 million vs. 3.559 million), reversing the order for the same week last year, when "Late Show" prevailed by a 62 percent margin (4.023 million vs. 2.490 million).

Through the first 16 weeks of the 2010-11 season, "Tonight" is leading "Late Show" by 11 percent in adult 18-49 viewers (1.283 million vs. 1.157 million), up from a 1 percent lead at this point last season (1.358 million vs. 1.342 million). In total viewers, "Tonight" leads "Late Show" through 16 weeks of the season by an 8 percent margin (3.849 million vs. 3.578 million), reversing the order of one year ago, when "Late Show" led by a 65 percent advantage (4.192 million vs. 2.533 million).

Through the first 16 weeks of the 2010-11 season, Jimmy Fallon is leading "Late Late Show" by an 18 percent margin in adult 18-49 viewers (811,000 vs. 685,000), up from a 1 percent lead at this point last season (797,000 vs. 792,000). In total viewers, Jimmy has cut the year-ago "Late Late Show" lead down to 1 percent (1.783 million vs. 1.772 million) from its year-ago 39 percent (1.938 million vs. 1.399 million).

Versus the first 16 weeks of last season, "Tonight" is matching its year-ago 1.0 rating in adults 18-49 and is running within 6 percent of its year-ago 18-49 viewership (1.283 million vs. 1.358 million), while "Late Show" is down 10 percent in rating (0.9 vs. 1.0) and down 14 percent in 18-49 viewers (1.157 million vs. 1.342 million). At 12:35 a.m. ET, Jimmy Fallon is matching his year-ago 0.6 rating in adults 18-49 and is up 2 percent in 18-49 viewers (811,000 vs. 797,000), while "Late Late Show" is down in rating by 17 percent (0.5 vs. 0.6) and down in 18-49 viewers by 14 percent (685,000 vs. 792,000).

In total viewers, "Tonight" is up 52 percent versus its average viewership for the first 15 weeks of last season (3.849 million vs. 2.533 million), while "Late Show" is down 15 percent (3.578 million vs. 4.192 million). At 12:35 a.m. ET, Jimmy Fallon is up 27 percent versus his year-ago pace in total viewers (1.772 million vs. 1.399 million), while "Late Late Show" is down 8 percent (1.783 million vs. 1.938 million).

At 1:35 a.m. ET, "Last Call with Carson Daly" is up so far this season versus one year ago by 12 percent in 18-49 viewers (501,000 vs. 444,000) and up 26 percent in total viewers (1.002 million vs. 798,000).
