MOST WATCHED FRIDAY PRIME TELECAST IN MORE THAN SIX YEARS
SYFY #1 IN CABLE PRIME AMONG ADULTS 18-49 AND ADULTS 25-54
NEW YORK - January 24, 2011 - WWE Friday Night SmackDown(R) reached season highs among total viewers, Adults 18-49, Adults 25-54 and household ratings during its Friday, January 21 telecast on Syfy, making it the channel�s most watched Friday prime telecast since July 2004 (Stargate Atlantis).
During the 8-10PM (ET/PT) time period, SmackDown pinned 3.3 million total viewers, 1.45 million Adults 25-54 and 1.27 million Adults 18-49, while averaging a 2.1 HH rating.
This fueled Syfy to #1 among all cable entertainment networks in 8-11PM prime among Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54.
The program soared +11% in total viewers, +14% in Adults 18-49 and +18% in Adults 25-54 compared to last week�s January 14 telecast.
SmackDown debuted on Syfy on October 1, 2010.
