Investigation Discovery Continues Reign as America's Fastest Growing Network in Television

(Silver Spring, Md.) In May 2011, Investigation Discovery has held its place as America's fastest-growing network for distribution growth and delivery gains in key demos. Currently in more than 76 million homes, ID has added almost 7 million subscribers in 2011 alone, an increase of 9.7%.
After scoring the best May ever in Prime for all key demos including P2+, HH, P25-54, W25-54, P18-49 & W18-49, ID marked its 40th consecutive month of year-over-year Prime gains among HH delivery, as well as the 25th consecutive month of year-over-year Prime gains among P/W 25-54 and P2+ delivery.

In May 2011, ID ranked #27 for W25-54 among ad-supported cable, up 12 rank positions from #39 in May 2010. This beat other female-focused networks including Hallmark (#33), Oxygen (#36) and We (#37).
Additionally, in May 2011, ID ranked #32 for P25-54 among ad-supported cable, up 10 rank positions from #42 in May 2010. This also outranked Hallmark (#35), Oxygen (#39) and We (#42) for P25-54.
Fueling these record numbers in May 2011 were significant gains across ID's entire primetime schedule. In fact, every night of the week posted double or triple digit P25-54 delivery gains over May 2010. (Mon, +52%; Tue, +13%; Wed, +129%; Thu, +48%; Fri, +83%; Sat, +86%; Sun, +55%). Notable series leading these delivery gains include On The Case with Paula Zahn, Disappeared and True Crime with Aphrodite Jones. Additionally, Wednesdays in May for ID were ranked #16 for W25-54 delivery ranks, beating Lifetime, LMN, Oxygen, Hallmark and WE.
