CBS Has the Week's Top Eight Scripted Programs
CBS won the week in viewers behind strong Thursday and Sunday premieres of BIG BROTHER and continued solid rebroadcasts performances of its scripted series, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending July 10.
The premieres of BIG BROTHER THURSDAY and BIG BROTHER SUNDAY swept their time periods in viewers and key demographics. BIG BROTHER posted its best Thursday premiere delivery since 2006 in adults 18-49 and adults 18-34, and its best delivery since 2005 in viewers and adults 25-54. BIG BROTHER notched its best Sunday premiere delivery in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49, and matched its best in adults 18-34.
NCIS, CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, NCIS: LOS ANGELES, BLUE BLOODS, THE BIG BANG THEORY, THE MENTALIST, FLASHPOINT, CSI: NY and CRIMINAL MINDS were the week's top eight scripted programs.
For the week in viewers: CBS (5.85m), NBC (5.80m), ABC (5.15m) and FOX (3.52m). Summer-to-date: CBS (6.224m), NBC (6.216m), ABC (6.09m) and FOX (4.25m).
For the week in key demographics, CBS was tied for second in adults 25-54 (1.7/05, with ABC) and averaged 1.3/04 in adults 18-49.

Compared to the BIG BROTHER 12 THURSDAY premiere at 8:00 PM on the same night last year, CBS was up +7% in households (from 4.4/08), +17% in adults 25-54 (from 2.9/09), +12% in adults 18-49 (from 2.5/09), +5% in adults 18-34 (from 2.2/08) and added +520,000 viewers (from 7.37m, +7%).
